  1. CC threw 3 COMPLETE GAMES for the Brew Crew that July before the trade deadline even arrived. For a frame of reference, the 2018 Brewers pitching staff has thrown exactly ZERO complete games so far.
  2. Rumor has it that SS BRICE TURANG is on the verge of signing with the Brew Crew!
  3. I couldn't disagree enough with this posters comments. I would do the same CC Sabathia trade again every day of the week and twice on Sunday! I'm sure the majority of Brewers fans would agree. EVEN IF I knew LaPorta would also put up a decent 10 year career as an Indian. The Brewer Nation at the time had suffered through 26 non-playoff years. Melvin had to give the team a chance to get that monkey off their back at the time. If Sheet and Yo were healthier that Fall, the Brewers could have made a series run to the World Series that October. And here we are 10 years later, and the Brewers still only have one more post-season appearance. Steans should take a lesson from this and use his farm system to improve the big league club this July, IMHO.
  4. Regarding... Thor (3.5 years of control) for Huira Burnes Peralta Lutz (or similar) ...I don't think the Mets would consider trading him for prospects alone. I think at least one proven, controllable MLB player would have to be added to our top 3 prospects in order for the Mets to even stay on the phone.
  5. Curious what you guys would give up JUST for Staily? I think I'd be willing to part with Santana and Houser for him, personally although I'd try to package Santana for a better SP first.
  6. Villar and Saladino can also be "backup SS" if need be. If Arcia sits, Miller can start at 2B vs. RHP, with Villar getting the start at SS. However, Miller could play SS in a pitch, which is valuable in and of itself. Trade seems to make sense for both teams and gives Choi a change of scenery/opportunity he would not get in Milwaukee.
  7. The Brew Crew Review's Minor League Analyst has the Brewers selecting at #21 overall RHP Kumar Rocker from North Oconee High School in Watkinsville, GA 6-5. 250lbs
  8. I have a gut feeling Knebel should be able to strikeout Jose Martinez if given the chance.
