  1. You can say it like 19 more times but it doesn’t make is realistic to think he’s a got any more than a slight chance to be a “superstar.” If he’s untouchable to you then I guess there are about 100 untouchable prospects in baseball.
  2. Springer just had surgery because he was hurt AGAIN. With his history, age, and Toronto’s RHB-heaviness, I think a Mitchell+mid-level prospect for Danny Jansen trade just makes too much sense for both sides
  3. I remember when Urias was supposed to be an 80-hit guy who could be 1 or 2 in the lineup. Now he has the approach if a power hitter without much power. I wonder how good he could’ve been if he didn’t fight having a contact-oriented approach and rolled with it instead.

  5. Vs a lefty, Yelich should bunt the go ahead run to 3rd here
  6. I haven’t gone to Am Fam in a couple years and went with my family today. Golf in person just reinforced how incredibly boring the current MLB game is becoming. It’s killing the Brewers, not helping, to be leaning into their love of 3TO too. All game, it was a foul ball, Take like an hour between pitches, another foul ball, and strikeout swinging for the fences with 2 strikes. That did yield them 2 home runs, but of course they were solo because nobody can get on base. Even Wong and Urias were swinging so hard and striking out, even later in the game when they needed guys to get on base. plus, this lack of balls in play and 30 seconds between pitches made my young daughter not want to watch much of her first ever Brewer game
  7. So taking Lamet was a favor to SD? As if what they got for Hader wasn’t already a gift? SMH
  8. D+ and even that high is due to trusting Stearns. I hate that they didn’t get a bat, which they definitely needed. The Hader trade I was actually OK with but I expected just a bit more. giving up a decent prospect for Rosenthal (after already nerring 2 more MLB relievers) is insane to Me I didn’t like Kelly being in the Bush trade either.
  9. It’ll likely be a playoff beating from the Dodgers, Mets, or Padres, who have stacked lineups while the Brewers will have old Cutch hitting cleanup vs righties, lose another year of great pitching, and people will be like “completely random that a team with Betts, Freeman, and Turner beats us and our bats just went cold (aka can’t hit good pitching).”
  10. I’d be surprised if they didn’t get a bat, likely someone who can play 1B/DH. Josh Bell, Drury, Christian Walker, CJ Cron, or Garrett Cooper,
  11. Easily Rowdy if a LHP is throwing, otherwise Cutch can sit or spell in the OF vs RHP
  12. I think Happ would be an imperfect and therefore interesting fit. They don’t need yet another LF, but they could use a switch hitter and he could be a fun offense-first utility player. If they let Huira play 1B and 2B then Happ can, when he isn’t at OF or DH. He’s gotten his K% under control too it would take more than just Feliciano and a low-level prospect to get him, though, since he’s under team control for next year too.
  13. Such pathetic approaches. Willy was still trying to hit a bomb even with 2 strikes. I don’t get the Brewer affinity for slow pitch softball approaches
  14. It would’ve made sense to sit Urias after his 0-4 with 4 k day yesterday. It’s not fun to see him go from an 80 hit tool to the Brewers dream of swing-for-the fences-no-matter-what approach. And just as I was about to send this he strikes out in his first at-bat today.
  15. I’m ok with this move as long as it isn’t THE move for the offense. I’d still like to see a power lefty/switch bat for 1B
  16. Milwaukee’s tailgate
