    I have a Bernie Brewer all star game bobblehead for sale. Its in mint condition/no box. It must be pretty rare. I dont think ive seen one listed on here before and there arent any currently on ebay. $30 shipped/paypal'd.

    Its by far not the worst offseason ever. This one is crappy but there has been many many worse, especially for Brewer fans.

    Who really cares if the brewers have to pay for the surgery. What will it cost? Probably somewhere between $5K to $100K. That is chump change to any major league team. Im sure there is some sort of insurance as well. Its hard to believe it would be coming straight from Mark A's wallet.

    Charter sucks. There customer service is horrible and if you watch your bill, it probably goes up a couple of dollars every month. That is one thing about tough economic times...it weeds out companies like that (not to say good companies cant go down either).

    From what I have heard, G-Rob is one of the main reasons that alot of the players dont sign in the players lot much anymore. That and the fact they see the same adults constantly wanting them to sign 10 cards.

    Yea, from everything I have heard, Uecker is far from friendly. It's kind of sad really.

    Think of it this way.... Players arrive in Milwaukee via airport...arrive and see multiple auto seekers, many requesting 10 photos/cards signed. Players arrive at their hotel...same Players arrive at Miller Park...same Players come out for BP....same Players go to leave Miller Park...same Sadly, the players are seeing the SAME people in these places. You know the players are thinking that most of these items they are signing are ending up on Ebay. Dont forget that they are treated like this when they go to other cities and stadiums. I think that getting auto's for free is kind of addicting to some people. For the average guy, who wants an autograph to pass down to his kid one day, its hard not to feel like some are ruining it.

    You can see why players dont want to sign for anyone when they are stalked everywhere they go and adults are asking them to sign 10 cards or photos. I love autographs as much as the next guy but you have to draw the line somewhere.

    You're right. The statment, ".08 drivers are plenty of the problem" is definitely a generalized opinion and not a fact. I'll argue against that. .08 is considered intoxicated or drunk. Drunk driving is a huge problem. So basically.... .08 driver = problem.

    I strongly advise you not to believe everything you hear (especially if its a barowner talking about local law enforcement). From the work I have had with Police, it seems that cops love the "safe ride home" program and fully support its cause. Officers dont make more money or profit at all from any arrest. Its about safety.

    Good to see the police were doing there jobs here. Driving to work at 2:30 AM, one would think you would be very appreciative of officers stopping drunk drivers so the drunks can't take you away from your family.

    I think the odds of us signing Hoffman have got to be slim to none guys. The geography is just too much. My guess is that his agent is only using the Brewers to try to get a better deal for Hoffman from a west coast team ala the Dodgers. That is one thing that truly sucks about being a Brewers fan. Milwaukee doesnt appear that it will ever be a place that free agents will want to come to.

    It's professional sports. Probably a lot more than you think. These guys play through and with pain every day.

    In Wisconsin, police have the right to do forced blood draws even on the first offense drunk driving. They wont hand you a needle and tell you to stick yourself with it. They will ask if you will submit to the testing. If you refuse.... 3 to 4 cops will hold you down by force. A lab tech will then draw your blood from any vein she can find. Your blood is considered evidence. As stated previously, it depends on that police department's policy when and if blood is drawn. But in Wisconsin, they can FORCE blood even the first time.

    The right would be the ones who have stated people should simply not drink and drive! There is a misunderstanding mostly with the testing of how OWI's are processed. People should understand that Wisconsin lets officers do certain things (like doing forced blood draws on the first and subsequent offense OWI's). Many times, deparment policy says how officers will do the chemical testing. People need to understand what Implied Consent is. Im not going to explain everything about OWI because it is a very long and difficult to understand process. People should understand though that it is a VERY big problem in Wisconsin. I give praise to the Journal Sentinal for their "wasted in wisconsin" section.
