    When I worked at Pick 'n' Save during high school we all feared Bag Lady. She was an old woman who would shop once a month and buy like $400 worth of groceries, then demand double paper in double plastic. Then she would inspect each bag before leaving the line. Not really a story about etiquette as much as a story about crazy.

    I was hoping for 90 wins as well. They're on pace to exceed that, so I'd be very happy with it. I'm not going to pretend like I wouldn't be crushed if they missed the playoffs with, say, 92 wins, but I personally expected 90 to be good enough for the playoffs this season. I'll be elated if they make the playoffs. Like Ennder said, anything can happen once you get in, so that's all that matters.

    Wow, that Witrado draft pick question has me dumbfounded. TH is uptight and unprofessional, but Witrado makes him look like a Pulitzer winner.

    The play thing is dumb, but overall I'm blown away by how much cooler the game is on PS3 than PS2. I just bought PS3 this year and wasn't sure what to expect from Madden. I like the create-your-own skill level feature, and it just seems the amount of options/commands to play before and during a play are much greater. This is only after playing two games though, so I don't have a great idea of it yet.

    Agreed, but I think we have a better chance of seeing Tony Gwynn Sr. in left this series. Yost won't start Branyan over Counsell at third, so why would he put him in left over Kapler?

    I love the "top secret rotation" term. I'm not sure I'd like Sabathia and Sheets pitching on 5 days every time no matter what, only because they tend to throw more innings. The concern is more for Sheets than Sabathia I admit. Sheets' last start came on six days rest (you decide if it was this, the Nats' offense or just coincidence for Ben turning it around). If the Brewers can open up a bit of a lead on the wildcard over the next couple weeks it might give them the luxury to rest someone here and there. I'm concerned about Parra's innings as well.

    A great illustration was made yesterday on how bad this is when it was pointed out in the game thread that the loss of production from Branyan to Counsell at third is greater than the loss of production from Braun to Kapler in left.
