  1. I love how Bill was surprised to see someone warming up with Sheets at 110 pitches through six innings.
  2. And now this ump is going to drive up the pitch count even more with that blown call.
  3. Suddenly Sheets will be lucky to get through six. Edit: And that was before the homer...
  4. Mike Cameron is the best Brewers center fielder I can remember. It looks so easy to him.
  5. Yeah I hope he isn't in the game long enough to get those 18 Ks. Pitch count's fairly high. But wow, he's dealing.
  6. Outstanding photos Ray King. This has to be the most lopsided pitching match-up the Brewers have had all season. Ben's hasn't been great his last few starts though. Hopefully he gets back on track.
  7. 72 mil is way too much. Bogut should be giving them a bit of a discount for extending him a year early. That's more like something he'd get as a free agent. Hopefully 72 mil is if he meets all his incentives or something.
  8. Man, I'm getting squeezed. What is this, the Price is Right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  9. 12 runs, 14 pitches. Very cool, thanks!

  15. Did he ever officially retire? I would think that if he would have accepted a bench role, he would have signed somewhere before the season started. Not a bad idea though...
  16. Sheehan: This wasn't a Godfather offer, and it's one that absolutely would have been there three weeks from now. If you believe Melvin, Sunday night was the last day that offer would have been there.
  17. I expected Prince to be gone after this season, but now I'm thinking he'll be around at least another year.
  18. I definitely agree that it's better he went to the Cubs over the Cards, Mets, Marlins etc. I also don't think the A's are giving up on the season at all. They might consider Gallagher a better bet than Harden for the rest of this season anyway because of the durability thing. Obviously, if Harden stays healthy, it's a great move for the Cubs though.
  19. This will be awesome. It would be nice if the Brewers could rough up Redman to make it a 2.5 hour CC celebration.
  20. Thanks for the recap Brian. Menotti, I was hoping you weren't talking about the Sklaar brothers. Oh, how I miss Cheap Seats.
  21. Are you talking about the Sklaar brothers? Also, for those who didn't hear any interviews, did Corey have anything interesting to say, or was it basically a fluff thing?
  22. The A-Ram trade was two Pittsburgh GMs ago I believe.
  23. I agree Melvin had the most to offer by far, and that's a credit to Jack Z, but what I really liked is Doug he went about it. He acted very early and he set a deadline that Cleveland met. Also I think it's pretty safe to assume they'll add a bullpen arm, so I don't get the point of saying now that Melvin should be fired if he doesn't address the bullpen.
