I don't understand why they went with Estrada who hasn't been stretched out in months over a guy who has been starting all year in AAA. In those pictures, it's like one is trying to imitate the other.

Don't feel sorry for the Cubs over this. If he actually goes through with it, it's the best thing to happen to them all season.

Baseball Prospectus had them at 75.4% before today, so when it updates it will have taken a decent jump.

I'm "left-handed." By that I mean I eat, write, throw lefty, but conventional things like scissors, computer mouse, etc I use right-handed because lefty versions are so rare. I'm guessing that's the case here. I'll second the vote for a Peralta callup.

I have no confidence in K-Rod against Holliday and Berkman. Gotta get some runs here, otherwise keep in Saito. If Saito hasn't ever pitched back-to-back, maybe it's worth a shot? K-Rod has been bad lately. If this goes extras, I don't want more multiple-inning outings from Estrada.

I'd definitely give Saito a shot to go another inning if his spot doesn't come up.

RR needs to be willing to use one of these setup guys more than one inning. He hasn't done that yet, but he'll need to in order to avoid having Marco Estrada be the one who has to do it all the time.
