    Why would Arizona be looking to sell when they are a real playoff contender and no this team should not make another bad trade for a reliever regardless.

    If this team were realistic they would look at their negative run differential and awful lineup and do the smart thing which is trading Burnes to either the Orioles or Dodgers who both have great prospects to choose from.

    These articles the last few days are outrageously bad suggesting we trade some of our top prospects for rentals when this team has a negative run differential. I would like to see an article suggesting we cash in on Burnes and trade him for a haul. No I don't see this team trading Burnes but its the right thing to do and a heck of a lot smarter than trading legitimate prospects for rentals.

    I'm too lazy to look it up but don't we have an incredibly good record in one run games which is something that usually evens out some over time.

    Its funny because I go back and forth on whether or not we should want him running this team. Overall I think we should but I do think there are better executives out there.

    Its curious that his contract runs out after this season and he hasn't been extended as far as we know.

    We had an excellent top 3 relievers but thats fading away with overuse.

    Its kind of strange that the analytics guys never mention our negative run differential when that tells a lot about this team.

    Have to say this team is great at run prevention. Guys like Turang and Wiemer prevent runs against us by being so good defensively and also prevent us from scoring by being such bad hitters.

    We definitely need our DH to be solid defensively.

    As good as this organization has been at getting the best out of the pitchers they have been every bit as inept in getting anything out of the hitters.

    Its not too late to do the right thing and get a haul for Burnes tomorrow. I doubt it happens but this team isn't a serious championship contender and the Dodgers have just the right combination of young pitching to give us for Burnes.

    I think the team has a negative run differential. Just can't expect to keep winning one run games at the pace this team has done.

    The lack of scoring runs has made Counsell use our three best relievers way too often and they are wearing down.

    Turang can't hit but wow at that defense.
