  1. The author's omission of Priester is a real head-scratcher. I would slot Priester 3rd, because there is no way that Misiorowski takes on a full load of innings this year. He will have to be managed, and while I think he has greatness in him, we will see it in 4 and 5-inning bursts this year. Some 75-pitch outings, perhaps, but I don't see any way that The Miz is a full-timer this year.
  2. This is a discouraging article to read. I will predict that Lockridge is not any kind of an answer and is part of the wishful thinking that Brewer fans have to live with.
  3. My understanding is that the player cannot be traded before June 15th unless they consent.
  4. Forget the ground ball rate, velo, options, years of control...THIS is the content I come to Brewerfan for!!!!! If they get the "NapTime" nickname, Enter Sandman has to be their song.
  5. Seriously? You'd think they'd have better things to talk about. If I was a Bears fan (**shudder**), I would have no issue with my coach appearing to be a "sore loser" in a postgame handshake. He didn't go full Juwan Howard or anything. I'd love to have another John Chaney/Calipari meltdown, though. That was fun stuff. "I'll kill you!"
  6. Imagine a TE switching to DLine. When has that EVER worked out?
  7. I've felt that the Pack has been an abdomen team ever since Watson's ACL torso badly.
  8. "Fans should all dress the same for swagger. Not me though. I don't own a jersey." LOL. I felt like I was in an "ocean" of Brewer fans when I was at the playoff games. There was a sea of yellow towels waving all night. You had to have seen that. I'm sure the guy who argued with me that it didn't seem like the crowd was loud enough from his vantage point on the couch would agree with you.
  9. Come on, this is silly. Sea of Cubbie Blue?
  10. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I love that jersey. I'm also on record as saying that if they would make a damn jersey with Barrelman on it, they could have all my money.
  11. I know Turang had a sore shoulder in spring training last year. Is that the genesis of all the talk about his arm not being suited for SS? That his arm isn’t strong enough? Please let me know if I’m missing something else.
  12. Hard to call this a make or break year. Mitchell’s already broken.
  13. Sums up my feelings on Mitchell and his return to help the team:
  14. This Pit-Buf game has been just awful. Due to injuries, review, timeouts, they ran 9 plays in 21 minutes of real time. 7-3 at halftime.
  15. Tough schedule, yes. But come on, your statement about beating two ranked teams is the most technically true and least relevant statement you could have made. The 2010 team beat #1 OSU and went to Kinnick and beat #15 Iowa. That team would have probably beaten more ranked teams had the situation presented itself. I'm guessing they could have handled the two ranked teams the Badgers defeated as well. I don't consider beating now unranked Illinois and Washington to be the same thing. Balance that against being the only B10 team to lose to Maryland this year. And I hear Maryland lost their starting quarterback from last year to the portal!
  16. Man, I don't even drink, and I recoiled when I saw you mentioning a St. Louis beer.
  17. I’m a season ticket holder that won’t be renewing. To add to the “4th QB” talk, it wasn’t like any of the first three did any better. Going back to the first year, I don’t think any of the qbs were good. Mordecai, maybe, but there wasn’t any indication that they had a guy who was a difference maker. Just an awful chapter in Wisconsin football. It’s real easy to walk away. The tickets I’m giving up have been in the family since 1971. No one in the family wants them. and it’s $3k I don’t need to spend.
  18. Guarantee me that some of the 125 games that Buxton plays in occur in September or the playoffs. If he’s just the annual late-season gut-punch Brewer injury, I don’t need him
  19. Oh man, I was at that freezing cold game as well. Drove all the way to Pittsburgh to see them lose on the last play of the game after a 12-play, 86-yard drive in 2 minutes. Good thing I am over it.
  20. I think 2025 taught me that five starters isn't nearly enough if you want them to have something left in October.
  21. 136, but who’s counting? Not the author of this article, apparently. Gonna guess AI contributed heavily to this.
  22. My ticket refund hit my AMEX account today.
  23. I still have money coming back.
  24. If you are saying that it was 17 mil for two years, I don't think that is correct. I think it was 2/$34, with buyouts and other language. Hoskins didn't work out well. The only alternatives are for Arnold to be perfect or not try. A bad signing like this tends to hamstring the Brewers worse than most organizations, but this group was pretty excited when Rhys signed. Especially the guy whose quote appears in my signature. https://brewerfanatic.com/forums/topic/41892-brewers-sign-rhys-hoskins/
  25. How does Roberts still pitch Treinen?
