  1. It’s hard to remember a time when Reynolds wasn’t a pain in the butt
  2. Yes, would be nice to score a run without making an out at the same time, but I will take it as well
  3. Was in town on business, had never been to Camden Yards. Why do you ask?
  4. And Durbin followed two batters later with his own 2-run shot
  5. Monasterio just hit a grand slam, so the Sox are creeping closer
  6. If they are, there’s always the wild card to shoot for. Having the best record and division titles hasn’t been working out. Maybe it’s the Brewers turn to be the 2019 Nats or the 2021 Braves. If you had told me the Brewers would be without Chourio, Vaughan and Yelich I never would have imagined they’d be 13-12. I’d have guessed they’d be in the 8-18 Phillies range. Lot of games left.
  7. I’m at the Orioles-Red Sox game. Orioles have hit six homers already. They just announced they have run out of fireworks for the night
  8. Got a fourth row seat for pretty cheap. My first trip to Camden. Park #32. Six more to go.
  9. Today's Grid is looking for a player who played Shortstop and Centerfield (minimum one game). Ooh, ooh! I know one!
  10. It all depends on perspective. Devin may just be in the wrong sport. His 9.95 ERA would be a world-class score in gymnastics.
  11. Last year, the Brewers won 97 and had the best record in baseball. Currently on a 96-win pace and out of the playoffs. Would lose the Central by 12 games. LOL. Apparently, that difference between 96 and 97 is HUGE!
  12. I’m still pissed at Burnes for giving up a 3-0 lead against AZ on back to back home runs in 2023.
  13. The UW would hate having a team in Madison. There's only so many entertainment dollars out there. Mallards get good support, but it's a cheap/free ticket. You mentioned Peoria, Cedar Rapids and the QC. None of them have a flagship state university there. I feel like I love baseball way more than the average guy. I'm a 15-minute drive from Warner Park, where the Mallards play. I haven't considered going to a game there in years. I'll save my money and drive the 90 miles to AmFam field. I'd rather watch a Brewer game on tv than go to a Mallards game in person. If I lived 15 minutes from AmFam, I would go to so many games. And yes, I'm aware that AAA baseball is different from the Northwoods Independent league.
  14. If someone recommends Versailles, tell them you need better. Way overrated, in my opinion.
  15. Sproat with 59 pitches through five, one run, very nice!
  16. Is it insane that a guy playing his first inning at first base in a major league game is doing it as a starter? I mean, I'd understand if someone got shifted during a game due to injury, but I'm just stunned that Rengifo is playing first base.
  17. I was out of town last weekend and pretty much out of contact, so I didn't know anything about a Harrison injury until I read this. Was holding my breath as I searched for info. Whew. Other than that, how did the series with the Nats go?
  18. Can we stop showing this promo that features Chourio, Vaughan and Yelich, please?
  19. Just not used to the Brewers giving up extra bases and looking shaky on defense.
  20. Bad decision by Hamilton. I'm not fond of this team today.
  21. I know, bat Ortiz leadoff so he doesn't have all those LOB! Genius.
  22. It's been a rough game, no doubt. But this team manages to stay in games. As bad as the pitching has been, it's only 3-0.
