  1. Having Siegler as the DH…below average. Having the DH bat seventh…odd. Having him bunt with two outs…awful
  2. Yes. Preferred Parking is the best. I head back to Madison after the game and it is so simple to get on westbound 94. Just make sure you are not in the right lane when exiting or you will get dumped onto Eastbound 94. Stay in either of the two left lanes.
  3. You're ignoring the fact that @sveumrules thinks the Brewers are gonna somehow lose 22 times. The optimism thread is not the place for that kind of negativity.
  4. This is from 2022, but yes, Nats park is beautiful.
  5. You probably saw Juan Soto's comments on leaving "a lot of money on the table" by not making the all star team. So I am sure missing the all-star bonus was an aspect of the reaction. On the subject of Soto, he would have gotten a $100k bonus. Or, as I like to call it, .01% of his $765 million contract. Seems to me if you get a contract like that, the baseline expectation should be all-star.
  6. Please, please, please, no more AI-generated posts. Especially when you ask it a leading question that supports something that you have posted on many times yourself.
  7. As we pause for the all-star break, here are some updates: Yesterday's win was the Brewers' 4300th in franchise history. They are now 4300-4472 all-time. The last time this franchise was "only" 172 games under 500 was exactly 25 years ago today. Jeff D'Amico shut out KC 4-0. The next day, they started a four-game losing streak and never got back to this level until yesterday. As my original post from two years ago stated, I've been around since Day 1. This is as much, if not more, fun than I have had as a fan. The Brewers are 133 games over 500 since Mark A bought the team. 1684-1551. Finally, I appreciate having this site to tell about these things. Because of you folks, my wife has a lot of eyerolling taken off of her plate.
  8. The error extended the inning, but it wasn't like the runs scored on the error. It still required the team to string together some hits.
  9. What is Sal’s injury? Irresponsible speculation welcome. My vote: he pulled the oblique muscle in his left knee.
  10. I wasn’t encouraging AI in the chat with my question.
  11. I mean, there’s very recent precedent for a great five-game run getting a player into the all-star game.
  12. Seeing Woodruff and Peralta listed as the starting pitchers the next two games feels really good, doesn’t it?
  13. Bat him cleanup, move him to first base, and forget about trading for a bat. As the kids say, WOAH SOLVDD!
  14. I don’t understand the six man rotation. That means you are a man short in the bullpen without needing fewer innings from the pen. It’s not as if the starters are pitching 7, 8 innings. There’s already concern that you will have tired arms, this won’t help
  15. Brock Beauchamp as we speak. “YOU get a free Brewer ticket, and YOU get a free Brewer ticket…”
  16. OP is all we got after jesusoftheapes got banned.
