I’m with you on not caring where he compares to his draft class. He’s not playing teams made up of people in his draft class. He can’t stay healthy, and he strikes out too much. I’ve never been a fan of Mitchell and won’t be until he can stay on the field and produce. The opportunity cost of counting on Mitchell and having him fail is important, too. Keep putting a guy in the middle of your outfield plans and having him underperform due to injury is a loss of potential.

One thing the Dodgers have shown at the deadline is that if you are willing to take on salary, teams don’t ask for much in the way of prospects. So I don’t know what the Cubs would need to give up if they played that game

That SF series was painful to watch. 5 errors? And that throw home by Turang yesterday was just sailed. Yelich not only dropping that ball, but falling down after? They seem so tight this year. Please beat the Cardinals, guys.
