  1. Stunned with how it grabbed, and how he fell like he was shot that its not reported as a major tear. 6-8 is still a full month shorter than I thought... pre pitching rehab work.
  2. Surprised but it makes sense since we have options but no long man. It's nice to have this list of options. Last year this was blazek or espino. Houser is at least interesting.
  3. Pens staying remarkably low work for how many innings we've forced them to cover. They've stayed so clean that I think 12 arms should be fine. I mean even drakes been decent. I am more focused on who grabs the 9th over having depth there at this point. Having Drake Williams Jeffress Albers Hader available tomorrow should do the trick. Could really use a good 5-6 from Woodruff.
  4. Chacins velo is down and his slider has been a negative. His slider hasn't been negative since 2012. I'd chill out with Chacin so far. As well as Anderson who has been fine. And Davies who has put up 3 starts in 2016 and 4 in 2017 to start the year that were in the 9 era territory. Suter working up in the zone and having garbage location is concerning for sure.
  5. Brady Hoover Williams and Lopez pitched today. Not that it prevents anything, but they pitched today. Williams needs to be on a plane prior to the end of the double header
  6. Not a doctor but yeah it looked like a massive tear. It looked high enough that I think its muscle and not attachment point. The latter I believe is far worse so semi-promising. I'd be thrilled if he can pitch again this year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's 3 months from rehabbing it... not rehab pitching, rehabbing the muscle, building back strength.
  7. Herrera (in my top 25 preseason) had a heck of a 4ip for Wisco as well. It's sad but my eyes have been more on the farm than the mlb squad from the day we didn't add Cobb. Hiura set back, Knebel injury... and I'm not sure 2019 will be ready to roll at this point. Erceg had a great night.
  8. Well he finally evenly mixed his pitches that inning and it worked.
  9. I've seen these results... did they actually say this stupidity is planned. Belt high 92 mph fbs aren't a good pitch. Yeah, they talked about it a few different times this spring. It's a philosophy that might work for hard throwers, but that's just not our personnel outside of Woodruff. Stunning... yeah for woodruff and most of the pen. Suter doing it is tee ball.
  10. Belt high fbs at 86 mph and junk in the middle 3rd are going to get crushed.
  11. I've seen these results... did they actually say this stupidity is planned. Belt high 92 mph fbs aren't a good pitch.
  12. Well suters bad on his location. Davies sucks in april Chacin can't get his slider going And Anderson has been decent at best. Its looking worse that it should but yeah...
  13. Belt high FBs and junk that can't hit edges isn't going to work.
  14. Horrible news. I wanted TJ immeduately, its a shame the elbows still bothering him. We need him up in the majors pronto. Any hurt prospect, I want surgery immediately.
  15. Yeah my 14 and 18 didn't make the top 25... and I feel pretty good about them so that's depth alright. (Brown, Pennington)
  16. 3-0 in games involving a BS. 5.2 runs 3.9375 era (pen lethal) +1.26 run diff
  17. Really aggressive with Brown!
  18. Braun can sit again. Save 1 huge hit he's been real cold. (yes also unlucky)
  19. Davies has had terrible aprils so nothing to see here.
  20. This staff is going to be loaded.
  21. I've heard his defense has looked good since instructs. I'm not going to buy that his glove is holding him up if the current three options continue to be horrible. If he is hitting lights out, he'll be up. Put me in the Hiura asap camp. Defense was ok to solid in spring. He simply has to be replacement level there or close. His bat will carry his value past this stuff. Villar Perez are the same dude as last (aka look flat lost) year and sogard is a guy.
  22. As well as Dodger ProspectS. Had me dreaming. Was what I wanted so many posts ago.
  23. Was banned for a bit so missed add in... Cain Yelich The potential of this pen... feels strange to be very comfortable with 7 pen pieces while gazing at williams peralta in the minors and just wow. Early yeah, but could be a super pen in the making. Albers Barnes Jennings and Jeffress can make this thing go lethal. Knebel woodruff unavailable (assumed game 3) and even with 5 from Suter I couldn't figure out what path CC would take because there were real OPTIONS!?! 1 more... Hiura's gonna be here soon at this rate. OPTIMISM!
  24. 100% agree. The nitpickers need to be quiet. The man is a national treasure, and the team is lucky to have him. But come on. Played the call for the GF and she just shook her head and said... oh poor Bob. I don't want him out of the booth until he wants to be but I remember at least 3 games last year where I was yelling at my radio... whats going on... what is going on... pulling up mlb.com to find out what is happening in a tight high pressure game. We're talking... uh "stammer" lookout wow... then no explantaion of what happened as if I can see with my radio. Don't worry they didn't collide and the ball was caught... via brewerfan.net and mlb.com. 2 games in and he'd have given me a heart attack with that one. He has to step over to color. Humility to crack jokes about it is awesome, endearing... but take that 1 more step. You need help on pbp.
