Definitely need a speed upgrade on both sides of the ball, and Alexander definitely fits the bill. Chark would be a solid fit as an outside burner that could open up the underneath routes for Adams, Cobb and Graham. Plus, with Chark's speed and Alexander's punt return ability, it would allow them to cut bait with useless Trevor Davis.

This move is exactly why they resigned House and signed Williams. They will be great mentors for Alexander. I suspect we'll see an edge rusher or WR in the 2nd round. No WRs chosen yet.

Both Mayock and McShay picked Alexander to the Pack at 14. Runs a 4.38. That is absolutely flying. Also an electric punt returner.

If they got the CB they were targeting, and grabbed a #1 next year, and only gave up a 3rd rounder, that's solid.

Disagree. This is the type of move I always wanted Ted to make, but he NEVER did. He was quotes saying he hated doing picks for future picks. It's very much a Patriots-type move, though.

Yep. And if Brees goes down, the Saints could be terrible next year, with really no good backup.

Packers must have similar grades on their next group of players. I bet they go pass rusher at 27. Maybe davenport is still there? LOL, I take that back. Saints gave up a ransom for Davenport.

Great trade for the Packers future. Saints are no lock to be very good next year. Could be a decent pick. Anything can happen.

Fitzpatrick would be a slot corner, or even an outside guy in Pettine's defense. He likes big corners who can press. Ward is even bigger, but more a traditional safety.
