  1. We take on payroll, they can re-sign Desmond with the savings we better get a haul. Stearns said they have nothing working on Lucroy which is unfortunate. Fun to speculate though
  2. We gave up Wagner and ate 6.5mil...which is a large chunk of change. In all honestly I feel like we traded Segura for half of Anderson. The other half of Anderson and Diaz were traded for by paying the cash and giving Wagner. As stated multiple times previously, subtract Segura's $2.6 million and we ate under "$4 million". For that we got a rotation arm and a prospect with a pretty good upside. What's not to like? Wagner had good minor league stats but his 91 mph doesn't project to the pros IMO. Greg Maddux he ain't. Stearns has a solid "B" from me so far, he probably could have done better in the Lind trade but he is quickly transforming the Brew. combine that with a Top 5 pick coming up I'm excited for the future 2-4 years down the road.
  3. I'm guessing Baseball would want some concessions for implementing the DH, replacing a bullpen arm with a higher paying DH spot, yes yes from the union. Maybe the owners get smart and get rid of the Super 2 rule and for god sakes implement an international draft, a lot of people have to be pissed about those players getting millions and millions of dollars and US amateur draft are capped at much lower numbers.
  4. I have one for $50, never has been opened. Doubles as a scanner.
  5. Bad example. Not saying the statement is right or wrong, but the Swanson trade is an outlier. Not to mention 95% of people think it was highway robbery. Actually good example, I too would like to commit highway robbery.
  6. Price of prospects is going up? Didn't Swanson recently get traded?
  7. Speed helps in the triples department as well.
  8. What's the date?
  9. Note to DS, please be right on these prospects, with this contract, Lucroys framing ability and his age this could be HUGE for the Brew. Remember the Greg Vaughn trade, we only got back serviceable players, we can't repeat that.
  10. Actually the deal with the Nats would have to include Giolito.
  11. Love the signing, he will hit 30 in our house.
  12. I have some Upper Deck dual autos of Sheets with Weeks, Weeks with Delmon Young, and with B.J Upton, among others. Before I bother posting EBAY I thought I would offer them here. Also have 2005 Ultimate Collections Sheets auto'd 15/69 his jersey # Also have 2005 Ultimate Collections Sheets/Weeks dual 23/25 Weeks jersey # Let me know if you have an interest and we can talk price. Thanks, Mike
  13. I've said this before if you trade LuCroy you better get back a can't miss impact prospect, or you hold on to him.
  14. Swanson is far from a sure thing, both GM's rolling the dice
  15. What about LuCroy for Pollock? Luke to help out the staff.
  16. Gallo has HUGE holes in his swing. Not sure he's can't miss. If you trade LuCroy you better be right.
  17. Hader in for sure. Probably leave Jungmann or Devin Williams unprotected
  18. Time Warner always seems to be hiring B2B reps downtown, if you have some sales experience might be worth a look. PM me if you're interested.
  19. Was Sardinas on the 40 man? wouldn't it be smart of DS to clear any spots possible just to minimize any losses, especially if its guys not in our future plans. Seems right.
  20. What's not to like we dump the entire 9.5 million and get 2 prospects for a team that won't win 75 games. Come on people. The purge has just begun. Lind is probably next.
  21. Logan82 you're 100% wrong, all organizations look into backgrounds of players and they assess the risk.
  22. How do I contact you? Mike 414-465-9758.
  23. Did you just quote the computer voice from War Games? Just checking.
