  1. Apparently we still have to miss a kick per week.
  2. I wanted to see Willis running more but he needs to commit instead of dancing in place.
  3. Yeah baby needed that. Not the greatest throw but I'll take it.
  4. He livestreams every prime time game every week, so he did Thursday, Friday, two games on Sunday, and Monday night's game. Plus "fan reaction" videos where he does scripted fake reactions as if he were a fan of certain teams, such as a Ravens fan when the toe out of bounds thing happened, recaps of Packers games, Plus other livestreams where he collaborates with other NFL YouTubers and many other videos as storylines present themselves. Dude is a busy guy and a hard worker. But it's brought him so much success and recognition, he won the 2023 NFL Fan of the Year last year (you may know this but others may not), he raised over $500K for charity last year during his 30 stadiums in 30 days tour and regularly does other fundraisers. That got him noticed and he was a guest on the Rich Eisen Show, had an appearance on the NFL Total Access and ultimately culminated in his win of NFL FoY. Lotta respect for him. I'm not like a super fan of his or anything, I don't watch every video he puts up, definitely don't watch all the livestreams but I check in pretty regularly to watch his scripted videos because they're entertaining and his Packers content because it's informative and or interesting just to get his take on things. He's just a fan like us, he just has a platform where it earns him a living.
  5. Public Service Announcement that Malik Willis has started and won an NFL game. Sure it was against the Texans in 2022 and his QB rating wasn't close to good. The following week he started again and the Titans lost to the Chiefs, in overtime. Again, Willis himself wasn't impressive at all. Things have to go right but with an effective running game and good defense there is a chance to win. A great chance? I wouldn't say so but I'm not going to say it's a foregone conclusion that they lose either.
  6. I'm in a 12 team fantasy league and we also do a survivor pool (pick one NFL team a week to win, can only choose each team once). Eight of us, including me, picked Cincinnati. Two others picked Seattle who are currently losing but long way to go yet. We could conceivably have a winner after one week.
  7. I'm reacting to the headline saying the Packers WILL sign him. That's a definitive statement which was then followed by pure speculation in the article itself. Any of us can speculate, that's nothing special. Ergo clickbait. Tannehill is a logical move to speculate on and there are pros and cons to such a move. Like I said, wasn't intending to be harsh or critical of you in my response, just calling it what it is. I did see a report earlier today that the Packers have contacted Tannehill, which I would interpret as doing their due diligence if they decide to go that route.
  8. I'm not trying to be harsh but did you read the article? This is clearly a clickbait headline that the actual article doesn't even try to back up with a source. Pure speculation.
  9. I'm satisfied with the experience. I guess not everyone feels the same. It's hard to win in the NFL, people look at the Patriots and Chiefs and think that's the standard but it's absolutely the outlier in the revenue sharing, salary cap era. Fans of other teams like to point at the Packers for failing in all those NFC Championship games, well where were their teams? How many times were they even that far? Sorry I'm just not going to feel bad because they've had a hard time getting back to a Super Bowl. They've been in the mix, moreso than the majority of franchises. Bad luck, mistakes, things not going their way, it's the essence of sports. It makes getting there all the more satisfying when it happens. None of us are guaranteed or entitled to see that happen again in our lifetimes. So either enjoy the good times or don't, that's the choice.
  10. It really is unbearable all the winning they've done since the early 90s. Sad times.
  11. TV broadcast showed him walking off the field after the game ended without help and he looked like he was walking normally for the most part. ETA: at least that's my recollection.
  12. Right, I really don't want to overreact to game 1 in a league where starters getting preseason reps has gone the way of the dinosaur. Change of defensive scheme from 3-4 to 4-3, I don't know how big of an adjustment that reasonably is but clearly these guys weren't comfortable running the defense. Would preseason reps have helped? Possibly not but I'd think so. Literally Joe Barry's defense likely performs much better just due to guys knowing their responsibilities. But there were plenty of non-scheme errors too.
  13. I'm watching replays of it now and can't tell if it's knee or ankle. If it's ankle he may have dodged one.
  14. That game didn't know when to stop going bad. Just kept upping the ante to the very end.
  15. Why are we staying in the pocket on a Hail Mary attempt?
  16. Man when you think things can't get worse. Damn.
  17. You'd think there'd be some end to bad decisions.
  18. Sure wish they'd kept that extra point.
  19. This franchise that doesn't value inside linebackers might be at the center of why the same old same old always seems to happen.
  20. Nothing like the automatic first down penalty to bail us out from getting the ball back.
  21. Well, horrible defensive holding call. Wow.
  22. On the bright side they have all their time outs.
