  1. MLB certainly could, I just don't put high odds on it. I believe people could watch the Brewers on FUBO and DirecTV Stream (or whatever it might be called now) other than Ballys and the cable/satellite providers. I just wouldn't expect to see YouTube TV, Hulu or Sling jump back in. I'm all for it, just don't think it's likely.
  2. I agree, I wouldn't expect the streaming services with Brewers coverage to change from what they already have been.
  3. I doubt that will cover in market Brewers games. That will be on a different tier.
  4. Per this Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article, last year Padres fans paid $99 for the full season through the MLB.tv app. In contrast the Ballys app charged $20 per month (so $120 over 6 months) and I think it was around $190 if you wanted an annual plan. That doesn't mean the price won't change but I think it will be reasonable even if it does.
  5. I feel like we can't rely on McKinney getting a pick every week but for now, weeeeee!
  6. So that's what Love can do if he gets good blocking and can take his time to make a good throw.
  7. Terrible. Gotta have that timer in your head and look around you, then do that?
  8. The Green Bay Penalties still going strong.
  9. In baseball, teams score runs by hitting balls that pitchers pitch to them. Weird.
  10. Definitely could be nothing. Usually pitchers will confirm if they feel they were tipping so we'll see if Devin says anything in the next few days. He may not because I'm sure some people would just call him out for making excuses. Could be something we don't hear about for a year or two or just never. FWIW Trevor Plouffe says it's there but very slight. Might not be obvious enough for batters to pick up.
  11. If you're still feeling sore from this heartbreaking loss kicking you in the groin, here's another gut punch for good measure. Looks like Devin was (Maybe? Probably?) tipping his pitches.
  12. Nobody wants to hear this right now but going through the hardships just makes the times they break through so satisfying. That's true for any sport. But for me 2018 was awesome even though they lost game 7 of the NLCS at home. That team was special and it was truly a joy to experience that. Look up some YouTube videos if you haven't already. It also stung to get so close to the WS but not get there. But I and many fans felt like that team was on the rise, surely they'd make another run deep in the playoffs the next year and beyond... didn't happen. That's when we started this cursed streak of playoff disappointment. But 2018 was still epic even so.
  13. I, for one, am more than ready for this particular trend to end. Doesn't even matter to me that it's the Mets. I'm just done with the same thing happening every time.
  14. I understand the crushing disappointment and anger but I generally choose to get philosophical after these types of things. I'm hurt and disappointed too, the whole Lucy pulling the ball away at the last second trope has gotten old with this franchise. But time and again I just come back to this being the nature of sports. There's a winner and a loser, a hero and a goat. Someone is going home bitterly disappointed. Maybe someday it won't be us. Maybe.
  15. Hader choked for the Astros so it's probably not just a Milwaukee thing.
  16. Disappointed. But I think I'm just too used to this feeling to be that upset.
  17. Ortiz looked lost up there, glad he didn't just roll into a double play.
  18. Ok, all this happened so that we can savor a walk off win. Let's get to work boys.
  19. And if it's not the closer choking it's some fielder making an epic gaffe on a routine play to extend the inning.
  20. Unfortunately this is so on brand. All star closer doesn't matter.
