    Do you say Kleenex or facial tissue? If you say Kleenex that's why bubbler is a thing. I will never drink from a water fountain because that sounds about as palatable as drinking from a fish tank. Drinking fountain is ok I guess but still too many syllables. Honestly though, I think it's been decades since I've actually used one, whatever you want to call it. Maybe it's just not that important what people call it.

    Google AI tells me that Milwaukee's 7.9% rate is relatively average or slightly below average for a major metropolitan area. Nothing to see here.

    I'm not really taking issue with your overall point but fluky wins and fluky losses feel to me like just the average run-of-the-mill day in the NFL. If the Packers had found their way to winning these last two games would this board be singing praises instead of dooming and glooming (and I'm right there with everyone else in that boat)? Not sure, I feel like we'd all be feeling lucky but the Packers would be 7-1-1 and looking like they're really positioned well for the playoffs. We'd probably be saying things like, this team is good but they need to clean some things up to solidify their status. I'm not really sure what my point is here. I guess I don't want to take wins away from the Bears just like I'm not going to take losses away from the Packers. "Just win, baby" is definitely the golden rule in the NFL.

    I agree with this. By that same argument though, might some MLB teams be willing to make an offer that would knock the Brewers socks off knowing that there might not be baseball in 2027?

    I think that audio glitch was happening to everyone, I was getting it too on the FanDuel app. It was very annoying but they did finally get it fixed. I'll have to price compare between Prime and FanDuel next season and see if there's any difference. FanDuel does usually offer a season pass that's less expensive than their regular monthly price, if Prime does the same then I may try it out.

    I think this is a decent sign that Murphy will remain managing for at least 2 or 3 more seasons before he retires.

    It doesn't make it fair that in exchange for modifying that system MLB is demanding concessions elsewhere that are so much worse that they have no choice but to continue. It is what it is, I still wouldn't describe it as fair.

    Uh, no, he won't be fairly compensated. HIs value would be so much higher on the open market but MLB's control structure prevents that. He will be compensated according to what that control dictates, not what he's actually worth.

    This guy's whole channel on YouTube's is centered around tips on how to best clean things. I went searching and sure enough he's got an inside of windshield video. Short and sweet. I'm not sure if it would cover a substance like car wax on the inside of the windshield but there are things in this video that, to me, feel like things that most people wouldn't do left to their own ideas. Like using microfiber towels and alcohol to break down grime.

    If the Packers keep playing like this we're going to get a read on what the Ed Policy tenure is going to look like real early. I sure hope it's not going to be quite as hands off with football decisions as it was under Murphy. I would say it's a fine line how aggressive he should be but Ted's leash lasted a little too long and perhaps the same could have been said about McCarthy too. There's always a possibility he could reverse the changes Murphy made to the structure and move the decision making back to the GM. He'll always have the option to fire and hire a new GM so it's not like his power would disappear.

    Gute doesn't have that power. Remember, Murphy set things up with GM, Coach and Russ Ball all having equal power under the team president (himself, and now Ed Policy).

    I mean, in the grand scheme of things this really isn't that important because it's probably very unlikely Canada would get a 3rd team (and I think Montreal would be the landslide favorite to be awarded the 2nd team if that even happens) but this makes no sense at all. The entire country is backing the Blue Jays right now, are people in Edmonton going to go to literal war with Calgary over the right to be true Blue Jays fans? Is it really that big of a stretch to think that maybe a baseball team located just 300 miles away might be one you decide to root for instead of the one that's 2,124 miles away? Toronto has a hockey team too and I'm guessing the Leafs aren't many Alberta residents' favorite team either. I just don't think these are the reasons it wouldn't be an Alberta team, there would be other, better reasons that it wouldn't. Vancouver, from what people have already said on this topic, feels like an objectively more attractive option. I still think Montreal, if the city backs it financially and commits to building a stadium, would be MLB's preferred choice. In the end it's all about money and what ownership group MLB finds most attractive. It could simply be none of the above.

    Same province is equal to same state. It's like saying you wouldn't be a Brewers fan if you lived in Rhinelander.
