  1. It wasn't a myth 35% of the time. Add that those team were likely at home and favorites after sweeping the team and I stand by not wanting to see a division rival I swept again in postseason. I would guess we are talking about small sample size anyway.
  2. If I was a Viking or Lion fan I would want to see anyone but GB in postseason. Not because we are so good just the beat them 3 times thing.
  3. Same here, I sort of expected to lose today with the secondary so beat up and on the road but we got dominated until the last 10 minutes. Just not a consistent enough team for a run but what the hell, at least we get extra Packer football.
  4. I don't know man, the NFL is sort of built to have these "witching hour" comebacks to keep fans interested. We were beaten early in 4th quarter and never got the ball back with a chance.
  5. Vikings always have that magic in the regular season, but they pay for that karma in the post season
  6. In the old days when there were more successful onside kicks I often thought why not if you have to hold them 3 and out anyway. Now not so much..
  7. This line judge today seems to have his own rule book
  8. Giving up the TD after closing back within 10 in 3rd quarter pretty much ended the what if's for me.
  9. LOL Valentine losing that fumble would have topped this awful performance off.
  10. Love's awful showing is most concerning to me at the moment. Let's see if he can get it together.
  11. I am not excusing thus awful show by the Pack but I think Vikings are better than many give them credit for.
  12. But that has sort of been our Achilles heel all year. The good teams just wait for us to make mistakes.
  13. What in the hell is Love even thinking there? It's 3rd and 5 and the worst thing that can happen is giving Vikes back the ball.
  14. Every game against a good team pass rush can't get home.
  15. I was thinking about it last week when he turned down the TD to Watson for the easier throw on 4th down, I am not sure I trust Love's accuracy yet to be too aggressive.
  16. That drive was so easy I am not convinced at all it wouldn't be 7-0 if we failed. We need to make some adjustments on D for sure.
  17. Vikings get those plays all the time it seems, we rarely do. You would think with our running game we would.
  18. Yes, we don't really have the red zone passing game you would like to gamble from the 4. If that 3rd down play was Kraft might have got it in.
  19. This may not be the score fest I was expecting. 20-19 or something like that.
  20. Yeah, stunned the didn't but thought they made FG too.
  21. Nothing but deep throws and Love isn't in a rhythm yet. Awful play calls lucky the punter bailed us out.
  22. Kyle Brandt said on GMFB that Packers-Bears will be on Saturday. They don't announce anything for next week until after this weekend but just a heads up for anyone going it could be moved.
  23. Alexander won't play if he is not 100%, I thought they said he still just didn't feel like himself last week. Everybody else plays through stuff like this but I am guessing he just doesn't trust the knee yet. He will be released in the offseason and someone will give him something like an 8 million one year prove it deal. In camp he will claim he feels healthy for the first time in years then he will pull hammy/quad/groin in like week 2 and miss a month. I still hope he is back for the playoffs but he needs to get out there soon.
  24. I am not too thrilled with going to Philly and then Detroit while the Vikings get Tampa and then the Wash-LAR winner. Most years I would agree it doesn't matter but I think this is a year where fighting for every seed could pay off. Let Wash take another crack at Philly first.
  25. With Washington on our heels there is a good chance we will need to win both these games to avoid the 7 seed. I don't want any lay down games, keep the team focused and sharp heading into playoffs.
