  1. Future of LaFleur, Gutekunst after Packers' wild-card loss - ESPN Demovsky on some possible outcomes although getting a pick for MLF seems like a pipe dream. I just can't get my head around giving MLF an extension after losing 5 straight including this game. He has clearly lost the fanbase, it would be odd to reward him at this moment. I guess a 1 year extension might be a middle ground but LaFleur may want more security and may want to get a big contract while he is still a hot name. If we do move on I am ready to blow up the young OC type hires and go to a veteran coach like Harbough. Let's try something different, we have the QB and Parsons in place, we need a fresh approach.
  2. We got all the bounces, converted some big 4th downs and they still ran us out of the gym in the 4th quarter. I don't feel like we were the better team and should have won right now.
  3. That LaFleur might think there are more lucrative paths outside of GB may be our best hope. His price certainly went down tonight for Green Bay.
  4. I don't think this one will stick with me so much, from the first two 3 and outs of the second half you could feel it coming. I expected an excruciating loss and they delivered.
  5. I think it is representative of something larger but yeah hard to guess what Policy thinks. Maybe we will be surprised.
  6. Do you think he gets extension after that game? I am still processing this but holy crap hard to see that right now.
  7. Packer are always a year or two too late to make a change. I guess we can hope Harbough being available changes things but I doubt it, that's not a Packer like move.
  8. I would really like to hope for that but somehow I imagine the Packer brass are going to be like "at least we saved some money on that extension" by losing today.
  9. Cleveland and the 2 Chicago games? One in the playoffs? We went above and beyond this year.
  10. He won't for at least 4 more years. No accountability.
  11. The 2025 Packers will always be Team Choke to me.
  12. Special teams again, not sure what happened on that kickoff
  13. Didn't seem like McManus adjusted much, would have been great to make them pay for the timeout.
  14. I know they will go but this sequence has been so bad they should just kick FG.
  15. Booker should have been flagged again for dropping his body on Love.
  16. Great answer when you could feel the Bears trying to get dirty again.
  17. The Packer starting defense hasn't stopped anything since Doubs bobbled the onside kick..
  18. The Tom news and the reminder on radio that Bears were without Odunze and Burton last game has already taken some wind out of my sails tonight. I feel like if it is close Bears will pull it out with a late FG, not looking forward to an excruciating playoff loss to the Bears.
  19. I suspect the MLF situation is more of a difference of opinion about his value that has now become a wait and see what it is at end of season. He has a good record but no trophies and a losing playoff record and is in his 7th year. It sounds like they will probably work it out from the Schefter report. For the rest I don't think we know the salaries or if they are low. I always thought we paid assistant coaches well until I read that article, it could just be the Packers don't value assistants that highly and feel it is more about the quality of players. That they tend to keep coaches around too long and promote from within certainly isn't a recent development.
  20. They brought up a couple of points like MLF being forced to keep Pettine and the lousy special teams guys they had before Bisaccia. It doesn't make sense to me why they would be cheap there either, they are rolling in cash. Here is the article for anyone who didn't see it: Schefter on Matt LaFleur’s future: The Packers absolutely want him back | Acme Packing Company
  21. It is possible Policy would shake things up but that piece this week about Packers being cheapskates on coaches made me think MLF really coaching these playoffs for leverage on his contract extension, not for his job. The Packers like OC type head coaches too.
  22. I am in La Crosse but spent 12 years in Minneapolis. Maybe they ran out of gas now but trust me if you were there during the Randy Moss years you would not find them so nice. And they REALLY hate the Packers.
