  1. Watson practiced today which is surprising, have to think he is feeling better and will likely play. Either that or they just want the Bears to plan for him playing.
  2. I felt that way going to bed last night but not so bad this morning. Like adambr2 said above there is still a path if the offense can really get hot. Not very likely but if Watson is back it certainly helps that. Just beat the Bears Saturday and get a home playoff game.
  3. We don't know if it is a cracked rib at all, just speculation on my part since it looked painful, but I remember Jordy cracked a rib in playoffs and returned the next week for NFCC. He wasn't very effective though.
  4. Sounds like Watson may be OK, at least according to his Dad. Have to assume he is out Saturday though, maybe just a cracked rib.
  5. Broken rib is the guess? Not sure that is season ending. I though broken collarbone but they said chest.
  6. Can't remember a game turning quite so much on one play when we felt like we were about to put them away. Big test for this team to rebound on the road, I mean, we still lead as bad as it seems right now.
  7. As hard as we scheme for bend don't break we sure break a lot.
  8. If we lose that call will get a lot of talk this week.
  9. I mean I get going for the kill shot at that point but they just tried it the last drive. Damn Watson of all guys, why can't we have nice things?
  10. Went from same annoying 3 and out as last week to YESSS! We have been screwed so many times this year on guys grabbing our WR arms about time we got one, even if Golden wouldn't have caught it anyway.
  11. 4 drives, 16 points no punts. Feels like we left some points on the field, especially that second drive where Walker downfield set us back.
  12. Hoping for some halftime adjustments on defense. Love on fire, let's not do 3 and out coming out of half this week.
  13. Not the defensive showdown people expected...
  14. It almost guarantees a close game in the end, defense doesn't give up big plays but sure can give up long drives.
  15. Looks like 2 weeks in a row of refs hate the Packers
  16. It's early you take the points, May be a low scoring affair but damn wanted a TD there.
  17. Yes, I read in a couple of places this week that they should sit Jacobs because this is an AFC game. That is really only relevant in tie breakers which is very unlikely to matter for the Packers unless there is another tie in NFC. That said if we are destined to split these next 2 better to win next week. The Broncos D is good but with our WR group finally healthy I like our chances of scoring 20+ today. Sounds like Jacobs is a go.
  18. High of 60 in Denver on Sunday, it's tempting to drive there for the game since we are in winter hell here. I don't know that I have really seen Denver all year, it's one of those parity games where none of the other division teams play them. My impression is they win all their close ones like the Bears did and also like the Bears their QB isn't as good as Love. That is probably the difference and why we are favored. #1 seed in play with 4 to go, have to win them all and getting this one will make it seem very possible.
  19. I don't remember the refs swallowing their whistles on defensive PI when Randy Moss was running roughshod over the league. In fact, as a Packer fan it seemed like the opposite. To be fair Cowboy fans complained about Parsons being held too. But they need to call it sometimes , geez.
  20. Love has been really good, we probably don't give him enough credit here because we get too focused on the few mistakes he still makes. If there are a half dozen great and a half dozen good QB's in the league he is like at #7 and rising. I don't know if it was during the broadcast yesterday but someone said he had the best QB rating out of a clean picket in the NFL and it wasn't close. He is deadly on throws outside the numbers. The poor accuracy on deep throws we complained about his first year have really been cleaned up. He gets blitzed and throws to whoever has the safety covering him. He has tremendous talent and is still improving, a big reason for optimism this postseason for sure.
  21. They only showed the relevant replay on the Musgrave catch like once and sometimes I will have to see it 3 times before seeing the ball move so I am not sure. It didn't look like it should be overturned on that first look though but someone else here thought it moved.
  22. But they already tacked on a 2 first round pick mistake to bring in Sauce Gardner to make a run. Ouch.
  23. For sure NFL Network just making something out of it to drive ratings for 2 weeks from now., it's sort of their job Maybe it's just MLF and Johnson just stoking the rivalry, I don't know, didn't notice it until they talked about it this morning. It wasn't the usual post game handshake, Johnson isn't the first new Bears head coach to hype beating the Packers as big goal coming in. We will see if he has any better luck.
  24. I am not mad about it, my team won. 🙂
  25. A lot being made on NFL network this morning about the MLF - Johnson handshake after the game, it was very quick with few words. We will hear a lot about it in a couple of weeks I am sure, seems more like Johnson being sore loser to me.
