  1. If we got it at the 35 every time like Detroit it would have been worth a shot but that felt like trouble, glad they took the knee after the failed pass on 1st.
  2. Let them off the hook multiple time in long yardage situations that drive. It's going to be a fight. Stop kicking the ball in the end zone, you can't give this team good field position all game.
  3. I hope you are right, I am cautiously optimistic but road games on Thursday are tough. Have to get Goff off his spot and he isn't as good, we seem to be bad matchup for them in that regard. We did drill these guys week one. Like James Jones just said on radio it's go time!
  4. Musgrave got a good run blocking grade on PFF as hard as that is to believe. I do remember one key good block where I had to look twice to make sure it was actually him.
  5. I saw some where since your post about Willis' trade value last week that some scouts were asked and said Willis was viewed more as high quality backup than starting material. I am sure he thinks different but highly paid backup isn't a bad gig in the NFL, he might be wise to stick around if the Packers offer him a nice deal.
  6. Yes, I saw that before my post, Viking fans calling it another soft benching. I don't doubt he has symptoms, Wyatt flung him down pretty hard on last sack, but I don't expect him to play Sunday even if cleared. He is just too awful right now, 1st round pick or not at some point you have to stop putting a bad QB on the field. Let him regroup for next season maybe he makes some strides.
  7. Ah yes, I think he has already been linked to them. That makes sense, another busted high pick that seems to be the new franchise QB angle with Mayfield\Jones\Darnold all turning into something.
  8. Maybe they can just make something up again to protect his fragile ego and put him in concussion protocol for a few weeks. 🙂
  9. He is definitely trending in the bust direction, tough break for the Vikes if he is with all the eggs they have in that basket. I am not sure what their next move is if he isn't the guy, Rodgers will be FA but will likely return to Steelers if he wants to play, they dumped Cousins already. So, they will be left finding another retread to resurrect or taking another QB in draft. At least McCarthy has an arm, Ponder didn't have anything to fall back on. He is still a worse pick at this point.
  10. I think that is why Nixon got hurt, Just a reflex thing Brinson threw his hands up and was using Wyatt as a shield.
  11. I haven't tuned in lately but his rant on his Monday AM show on KFAN after a loss like this usually sums it up. I think it starts at 9. or at least it used to.
  12. Team have slowed games down to beat us, that probably has something to do with solid rankings, but overall D has been good. My comment was more about how some bad or old QB's have had success throwing the ball on us even with our pass rush. That didn't happen today.
  13. We finally found a QB bad enough for our D to stop. Nice win, didn't really agree with the conservative play calling in 2nd half but it worked. I thought the 1st int was a fumble.
  14. Not sure why out of gun there, I knew they would run it.
  15. Musgrave seemed promising as a rookie although even then he fell down every time he caught the ball. I am not sure what happened to him.
  16. Too late now but that sounds about right. We discussed it here when Bengals inquired and my thought was he had too much value to Packers and it would take a 2nd rounder which no one will do. Hopefully he gets a big enough contract in FA to get us a 4th round comp pick. That was a big drive yesterday.
  17. I didn't watch last night but just saw on GMFB that Detroit went 0-5 on 4th down. That is how they will go down in the playoffs again. I agree it is wide open but Philly is starting to look like the Chiefs, they just know how to win and I expect they will be better come playoff time.
  18. They have a way of winning when you least expect them to. But they have looked terrible every time I watched this season.
  19. I will take it, Love and Watson make the big play and they hold it. All kinds of mistakes again but at least we can look forward to the division games now, if we lost today I think we may have been done.
  20. Seems likely, this one would really put our season on life support. Have to have it.
  21. I think we have a bunch of jags at WR, that may be a big issue with this team.
  22. Defense is going to be gassed down the stretch, at this point feels like we are on the ropes a bit.
  23. I mean, can't the Giants just play for draft position and let us have this one?
  24. Yeah ESPN says 75% chance of Packer win, I am not feeling that
  25. I know, just asking for a lot to go right. If we actually got some long TD's on them I might like them better but seems like too much gambling.
