  1. I think you are talking about how they talked about Rodgers being like Favre and you are right, the years make you forget those comparisons. Yes, Love right now does his best work in the pocket but if you can excel there it is enough in today’s NFL. Hopefully he quickly improves on the scramble throws, I am not doubting he can anymore.
  2. I watched a bunch of the national sports show Packer segments on youtube last night and surprisingly not a lot of complaining about the missed DPI, most that did spent just as much time on the late hit on Mahomes. Bayless and Irvin even speculated that Valentine was looking for the ball and it was underthrown causing the contact. I think this is probably what happened with the no call, the officials saw those 2 parts of the play and just didn't want to throw a flag at such a crucial late moment, I thought the Owens hit was a dumb play on his part, totally legal but you knew the flag was coming on such a hard hit to a franchise QB near the sidelines. Rich Eisen went on and on about how much Love reminds him of Rodgers, the sidearm and backfoot throws and the zip and accuracy on the intermediate stuff. Crazy how fast the narrative turned with Love, I am guilty of giving up on him myself but he looks like the real deal. Van Ness flashed a few times, great to see and hopefully he starts making more of an impact down the stretch. Great game for Dillon, I thought it was a big mistake to try and throw on that last third down as Dillon has a shot against a worn down D and the time off the clock was too valuable. Glad it worked out anyway.
  3. I feel like this happened late last season too and we expected him out for weeks but he was back the next week. I am still assuming out a week or 2 but I doubt they will be as careful getting him to 100% as they were earlier.
  4. Ugly ending by the refs both ways. I will take it. Shut up Collinsworth
  5. As usual Packer defenders looking at each other with their hands up.
  6. MLF burns timeout because d can’t stop anything.
  7. Great play by Watson after the prayer was answered on 4th down. I don’t think Chiefs have punted yet, cmon D!
  8. I am still pissed about it, knew the second I saw 3 they would convert.
  9. Not rushing.3 against Mahomes, game turning play. I hate Barry
  10. Yeah that sequence went back to where we were a few weeks ago. Hated the run(ok might have been a pass officially) call on third too. A sack doesn’t t change much, take a shot downfield.
  11. That mvs play was painful but holding them to 3 a win there.
  12. I don’t know how a guy can be questionable for a month. Totally wrecks my optimism for this game. CB a priority in the draft I guess.
  13. I wonder if this may be the death blow to the ACC. FSU has been looking at their options already and didn’t want Stanford/Cal. Now they get left out unbeaten. I sort of thought Georgia was in no matter what but haven’t been paying close attention I guess. What a mess.
  14. I thought they would be clear of Hunter and Cousins after this season but looks like a ton of dead money there. Maybe like us they are due for a cap reset but it will be interesting what Cousins' market will be coming off the injury. They may be able to get a cheaper one year deal done or maybe Cousins has made so much he will take less to stay there. I agree they need to move on I just don't expect it.
  15. Wait, does this mean DobbsMania is over ALREADY? 🤣 They will get Jefferson back so I imagine they might have 2-3 more wins in them. But I am guessing it will be Cousins back next season, he wants to be there and it's hard to think of anyone better they can obtain.
  16. 2 wild card spots wide open in NFC, we beat the rams and maybe have a better QB situation than the rest. The last playoff expansion keeps a lot of mediocre teams alive but not complaining when Packers are one of them. What a stinker for the Vikes in a game they really needed at home.
  17. Not much of a surprise to most of us Packer fans that Lazard isn’t a starter quality receiver but I will be happy with the comp pick we will get for him.
  18. A really fun win, can’t say I have enjoyed a win like that in a couple of seasons. Love sticking it to all us naysayers, Gary back on his all pro trajectory, even Watson showing promise again. Schedule really isn’t that daunting the rest of the way, too bad we couldn’t pullout one more of those close games but can’t wait for KC next week. Let’s keep it rolling.
  19. Yes, I meant Purdue would also be #1 if they win. Meaningless ranking of course I just thought it's probably not often teams go head to head with #1 at stake in regular season.
  20. I would think todays winner will be #1 next week. Beating #1 and #2 should be enough for MU to hop Zona.
  21. Yes, I am a skeptic of his game but that was his best game all year. Bad defense but there are worse guys taking snaps in this league for sure.
  22. Yep, Preston getting Allen
  23. I was thinking of this the other day too, There were some guys like Bergrenn and Nankovil who I think had disappointing senior years but overall a Ryan team full of upperclassman was usually very good. With Gard it's almost like guys get worse...
  24. Dallas threw short of the end zone in almost the same situation last week and got gang tackled quickly. A quick screen probably has better chance but just like a fade in the end zone everything has to go right. It’s a tough play to convert, just enough green before the end zone to give the defense time to react to pretty much everything. Packers D would have found a way to blow it of course.
  25. At the 15 or so there is definitely a chance. But just rewatched the last play and it was an awful decision to throw it there, one guy in front of Watson and 4 guys still around the goal line close behind him. Maybe you catch them flat footed in a hurry up situation but once they took the timeout that play was not there and that should have been obvious before the snap. Oh well…
