    Another backup QB this week, it would be nice for the D to step and have a complete game after the last couple of second half outings. Jacobs will be game time decision. This feels like a key game, we really need a road win and have Steelers/Eagles 2 of next 3. Not quite must win but going to be tough to win division if you can't win these games.

    I know this has probably been covered but Love sliding when first down wins the game made me furious. Then they followed it up with a throw on 3rd and 2...how many weeks in a row are we going keep team in games with these mental/coaching mistakes late in games? Count me as one who was shocked we actually made the FG. It's like we just can't execute once we are in position to win. It was a much needed win and maybe it was just a hangover from the Brewer win but I was about as unexcited after a Packer win as I can remember, didn't even feel like listening to postgame radio.

    To be clear, I was expecting a sweep after we were up 2-0. I certainly wasn't expecting to lose today but of course realized it is possible.

    What a let down, I was sure of a sweep and yet here we are 20 minutes in and I am starting to worry I need to find something else to do. Pull it together guys.

    At the end of the season the tie will probably either amount to a win or a loss for playoff positioning. Just have to hope for the former. Really ugly couple of games after such a promising start, we were 9 point and 7 point favorites and went 0-1-1. Pretty good time for a bye as it turns out.

    Going back to the Chicago loss last year we have 2 losses and 1 tie in our past 5 regular season games where the coaching staff, especially clock management, carried a good load of the blame. Look around the NFL, most games comes down to the end and it's a big problem if your coaches are making obvious brainlock mistakes repeatedly. After the false start at end of half pretty much every coach in the league knows it's time to take itin for the half. They probably just ran the same play and it took 5 yards longer to develop and it bit us.

    Giants Nabors has torn acl. Ouch some teams can’t catch a break.

    It was a situation where just taking a knee results in a 90% win probability. If MLF isn’t barking in his ear to eat it if he is not sure maybe it isn’t all on Love but Jordan needs to understand the situation without coach reminding him. The Browns D is tough, we knew this going in, but we had this game and Love blew it with a huge unforced error. It’s not the first time and it is concerning since playoff games so often come down to the wire. Hopefully the Dallas defense will cure all. It’s a road AFC loss, no big deal, it just stings the way it went down.

    After a couple of hours to cool down the thing that still bugs me is the interception. I didn’t listen to post game but friend told me MLF was excusing it just like that pick 6 he threw right before half vs Detroit last season. Those mistakes can’t happen and that Love may not be the guy to get us there is what I am taking into this week.

    Snapping the ball at end of 3rd quarter and then trying to snap it on 3rd down on last drive when you had 2 timeouts that ended with false start. You run the clock down and call the timeout, football 101 and MLF failed miserably today.

    I was pretty sure he was going to miss it after the Walker false start.

    That should have been the dagger even with him running out. The D had this, Love screwed the pooch.

    Trying to to remember something comparable…oh yeah 2014 NFCC. That was waaay worse.

    What a massive choke job, you just have to laugh. An AFC road game, oh well. The interception was the difference. Just an awful awful throw. Inexcusable.

    I watched it like 3 times now, so bad. Textbook how to lose a game you have won.

    It's a set thing, we always play same home and away in these games a Vikes and Lions/Bears get matching schedules as well. It alternates, next time the North matches up with NFC East Vikings/Packers will get Giants and Cowboys at home and Bears/Lions get Wash/Phil.

    It would probably take a 2nd rounder for the Packers to give him up and I don't see the Bengals doing that. Maybe if the Packers feel good about Clayton Tune they would take a 3rd but I doubt it. Willis has a lot of value for a SB contender.

    He was clearly pretty banged up at the end of the game last night, I don't doubt he is injured. But I think he will be given a long time to heal as long as Wentz is adequate and moves the offense. He does have 156 career TD's, not sure why the wheels came off so bad as I never really followed him the last 2-3 years. Just saying the Vikes got career years out of Darnold and Keenum before, it would not surprise me at all if Wentz did OK.

    JJ McCarthy has high ankle sprain and is week to week. Translation? He isn't ready and needs more time, Wentz era to start against Bengals this week. Sounds like Jayden Daniels will miss some time with sprained knee too.

    You are half right already and doubt you would get very good odds on the remaining half of that bet. 🙂

    That is great news, means the Packers think he will return to form. Packers really buying into this SB window, there has been a big shift from the TT era for sure.

    Both Tom and Banks potentially out but they have Kennard and Morgan graded out well on Sunday. Wash has to travel on short week and we don't, this seems like game we should win to me too.
