    I don't really think Gennett is all that great either, but is that really any worse than the 2 months we had of Rickie Weeks at bats....strike out, strike out, grounder to short? The timing is strange with Weeks hitting now, but getting all over Gennett after very few at bats, after watching Weeks bat sub .200 for the whole season doesn't really seem fair either.

    I'd actually agree. You stick with Weeks for months while he sucks, he comes around some and the platoon continues? Don't get it. Seems like every time we make a bad play defensively, it costs us. If the defense could have been better, Yo might have had a stellar start here. His pitchcount wasn't too bad until the errors started happening.

    That was not a good inning. Passed ball, poor FC decision by Francisco, terrible toss by Scooter preventing a DP turn...guess that's why we're bad. Just too much of this all year. Still have the lead I guess. Luc gets one back!! That had to hurt, looked to me like he hit that wall at almost full bore. Weird, because he jumped and timed it perfectly without looking, just hit the wall wrong I guess. Looked painful and he is still on the ground...

    Not a great start for Gindl there, but that's an impressive play by Gomez. Look at how far he ran to get that ball. He was backing that up off the bat, which isn't a given considering where the ball was and how shallow it was. Great hustle, great throw. It went as an error, but that was some nice opposite field power from Gindl, that's gone in most parks. Thanks for the 3 free runs Astros.

    Not sure why, but I've always hated RVD and didn't think he was anything special. Him coming back at his age now, I can't see that changing for me. The WWE really does need some better heels though, someone the fans can generally hate. It just doesn't happen. Fans seem to like the heels a lot more these days. Much tougher to create a great heel in the PG era I guess.

    Fondy, I completely agree with everything you said. I really, really hope the Bucks are smart enough to realize that no matter what happens this off season (barring a miracle), this team is a 7-8 seed in a best case scenario. I HOPE all three of them leave, we draft a PG this year, let him start, let the young guys play (and probably suck) and bank on a top 5 pick. If we can somehow acquire another first round pick next year, that would be great too, as the draft will be absolutely loaded, even if the second pick is in the teens or twenties. Sadly, the Bucks have proven to be run by idiots. We'll probably overpay for one of those guys and if not, we'll overpay for Josh Smith or whomever and wind up mediocre again, with no shot at a true stud player this team so desperately needs.

    K Rod has been exceptionally good. Looks nasty. Need him to keep it up for another month and we could actually get something decent for him.

    I get the small fish for big fish...but realistically...do any of these players really know if the other players are using? Unless they physically saw them inject themselves or got treatment together, that's just pure hearsay.

    I go back and forth on that. On the one hand, they want to make Braun and any others look bad. On the other hand, if they suspend Braun and others and it's made public and the cases get dismissed because there is no evidence...that's going to make MLB look really stupid (again). I think they'll suspend any that they believe might actually uphold. And even those will be tough IMO.

    None of the documents that have been released had any dates on them as far as I'm aware. If all they have are dollar amounts (at least one of which says 20-30k) and the recorded Bosch statement stating Braun used him for legal advice (despite what he may tell MLB, he is recorded saying this), I just don't see how they can suspend him - and if they do, how that would ever hold up. ARod on the other hand is probably screwed.

    It was a great game, despite who won. I still think Miami got away with a definite foul on Ginobli with 5 seconds left. Allen smacked him across the arms clear as day without a whistle. The Bosh/Green play at the end is called a foul 95% of the time if it's not at the buzzer like that too. I despise the Heat and what they stand for, so I'm pretty disappointed...I don't see how Miami doesn't win game 7 at this point. Hope I'm wrong.

    Latest rumor I saw (not a great source so it's probably nothing) but it was Jennings in a sign and trade to Indiana for Danny Granger. Regardless of rumors that actually make sense, I'm pretty confident that Hammond will screw up pretty much 95% of the off season.

    Ellis must really not like it here or thinks he can get 5-7 years. The fact that he turned down an extension in the 36/3 range is pretty absurd. So Ellis is all but gone. What about the other two....? I'd almost rather keep Redick, at least he has a useable skillset. I wonder if they'll talk to Josh Smith now that we have Drew coaching, as we clearly tried to trade for him at the deadline as well.

    Mike Fiers can easily go on the 60 day DL to create room.

    Braun to the DL should have happened a month ago. He was clearly hurt and we just kept trotting him out there, he clearly wasn't himself. This should have been handled much better and his DL stint would have already been over. Just more ineptitude IMO.

    I imagine they'll make an announcement on the next home stand. That seems to be their MO at least.

    If we got the #3 pick and still kept the #15 pick...I think I'd go with somone like Oladipo with #3 and then maybe someone like Larkin with pick #15. Ersan is what he is, but if we're serious about Henson and Sanders, Ersan is taking minutes away from them anyways.

    I'd throw Jungman and Bradley into that mix too. Seems like all of them have made pretty big strides so far this season.

    I asked a manager at Walgreens and he was pretty upfront. He said they are supposed to ask you for a release form if it appears to be a professional photo, but that it's at the employee's discretion and a lot of them are high school kids that almost never do. If they do ask you for one, you have to have a release form stating it's ok to print it off. Not sure how it works with your own photos, I'd imagine that would be easy enough to prove?

    How does he compare to how Hunter Morris looked when we drafted him? I don't recall him being thought of that highly but has done pretty well so far.

    Not to change the topic, but we're going to be picking in the top 5 regardless I think. Especially if we go through with a fire sale. Braun being out might keep us in the top 3. What is RR supposed to say? "God, I hope he's not suspended, we suck enough as it is".
