  1. Purdue went to the line 18 times that first half to our 6.
  2. Painter was bragging about getting 4 charge calls against MSU yesterday. Today Loyers feet are completely off the ground as he throws himself backwards. That was supposed to be taken out of the game the last couple years
  3. And another Loyer flop rewarded
  4. That was another Purdue flop the Zebras rewarded them for
  5. Apparently the coaches gave Wahl and Gilmore the green light on threes. Not working out so well
  6. If we keep hitting threes we are going to have a chance to win
  7. Really good win vs a tough team to play. Without Chucky it took a bit to settle in but once McGee took over at point the offense ran much better Great adjustment by Gard to go with Klesmit on Bouie and bring our bigs up to stop his penetration in the lane For a team that doesn’t block shots I saw two of the best all year with McGee’s and Storr’s blocks Stephen Bardo referenced it but this team is really good when they get downhill on offense. That is especially true for Crowl and Wahl There is nothing worse than watching things grind to a halt when they play back to the basket/ dribble down in the post. It reminds me of watching old Charles Barkley I think this team could make a nice run in the NCAAs
  8. Izzo and MSU uglied up this game enough to have a chance to pull this one out
  9. The Carolina lineup is pretty exciting
  10. That was a fun game to watch as far as having little doubt about the outcome of the game goes. They haven’t had many laughers this year and this came at a good time. I thought Crowl and Hepburn really set the tone in the first few possessions and it was all clear sailing from there. Another solid performance from Blackwell as well I understand NW is down a couple guys so there is a good chance they can get to Saturday with another well played game
  11. This sounds about right to me. He only played in AAA at the end of last season and not sure he is ready defensively yet either. It will be interesting to see where he plays to start the season
  12. There are also a number of dark horse candidates to fill out the pen like Viera, Bukauskas, etc that I would like to see how they perform.
  13. They have some athletes for sure and played hard when I watched them. They don’t really have any consistent outside shooters though. Everything they get seems to come off dribble penetration with their guards. Their season is likely over but a team to keep an eye on going forward
  14. Mitchell’s swing looks a little different. I don’t recall reading anything about that this off-season but might be something to watch if he can elevate the ball and cut down on Ks.
  15. Texans doing some damage today. Also added Joe Mixon.
  16. No way. Megill is likely in the closer mix if Devin is out
  17. Agreed, I love tournament time. I caught the last half of the UW-M game last night and came away impressed with them, it would be nice to see three WI teams in the tournament. Marquette has a good team that can make a run of course so it will be fun keeping tabs on them as well.
  18. I came across this a while back and thought it was interesting...
  19. Conference tournament time is here. The UW-Milwaukee squad will be playing tomorrow night for the Horizon League Championship
  20. I think this is a pretty good draw for Wisconsin. On a neutral court they should be able to beat Maryland/Rutgers if they play good fundamental ball. Northwestern is also a winnable game. The return of Kamari should help defensively against the Boo Buie action they run. Hopefully they can make a little run and at least get to Saturday.
