  1. Yep. Hate to say it but it’s starting to look like a trend. Still time to turn it around though.
  2. What is impressive to me is that they are still really efficient offensively. They are not turning it over at a much higher rate either. Maybe some more lazy defensive possessions. But they have mostly still adhered to Wisconsin principles while modernizing the offense.
  3. Great to see Rapp contribute tonight. He was active and engaged on both ends of the floor. Carrington with 17 points in 16 minutes is incredible to have coming off the bench. Janicki continued his overall good play as well. If this continues, that is a really strong 8 deep.
  4. I think this is mostly true. I do have some hope for the new O-line and DB coaches. I watch a good bit of SEC ball down here and am familiar with Steeples especially when he was at LSU. Some of the guys they brought in the secondary are legit players with P4 experience. Burks and Robinson especially have played a lot of ball. Fletcher is a good looking corner. Van Dinter, Bates and West are lesser known but do have some experience and need to be coached up. Mateos can coach. I was a bit surprised they didn’t get him some more proven guys outside of Kawecki so he will definitely have his work cut out for him. But there are several guys now with some playing experience in that room. It’s been reported they may still add one there too.
  5. Nick Boyd does some things on D that are frustrating every game like going for steals and missing which puts his teammates in a position to cover for him and sometimes they give up easy buckets. He goes under screens on the perimeter multiple times every game and gives up open looks. But looking at his offensive stats recently it’s hard to be too upset with him. Yesterday he had 32 points, shot 50% from the floor, got to the free throw line, had 9 assists and 1 turnover. Pretty good player, glad we have him.
  6. Agreed. This was mostly UW dominating the game. I do think they let up defensively some in the second half but overall what was expected in this one.
  7. Badgers have had a few good chances but, I agree, MSU goaltender is really good.
  8. Close competition between which Michigan team is the douchiest.
  9. Tomorrow is set up for a good one hopefully.
  10. Now we’re in it. Great effort so far in this period
  11. I think both are pretty talented just inexperienced.
  12. I’d change goalies. That goal helps get us back in it maybe
  13. Absolutely, seems like they always have a stick in the way when the Badgers enter the offensive zone
  14. Another tough one. Pretty big hole to come back from now
  15. Are you in attendance tonight?
  16. I hate that Stramel is playing for MSU
  17. Great PP goal by Tulk.
  18. I’m afraid the weak link on this team is the inexperienced goal tending.
  19. Tough way to give up a goal there by Hauser. Hard to tell on replay but it appeared he could have gloved that puck.
  20. Obviously Michigan is the best win. I was just convinced this was going to be a letdown loss coming off that win and was pleasantly surprised by how they came out and played in the second half
  21. With about 3:00 left in the game, I was thinking this is going to be the best W of the season. Unfortunately, they did not close it out very clean. Still it was going to be a tough game to win against this MN team. They play hard and disciplined on D and slow the pace offensively. I think going forward we will see more smaller lineups with Carrington and Janicki instead of a true 5. It worked well in this game and will against most teams they will play outside of the Michigan and Purdue type teams
