    Had a drift in front of my garage this morning. That is not unusual as I live near a lake and the wind really whips the stuff around. What is unusual is how tall the drift was. I am 6' tall. The drift was taller than my waist. Oh how I love a windy, snowy day.

    12 - 14 in Oshkosh....great. I have a meeting w/ my new boss in Wautoma on Tuesday afternoon. Hmm, guessing that this may not happen...

    Wow, I love holiday parties. We just had a party w/ some of our new neighbors. 3 hours, a TON of beer, a few shots, some snacks and a guaranteed hangover tomorrow...love it.

    Watched Eastern Promises last night. European gangsta movie that kept my attention. Viggo Mortensen, Vincent Cassel (Night fox from Oceans 12 and 13), Naomi Watts. I would recommend this movie.

    I am currently liking the Steakhouse burger from BK. Good stuff. I'm also a big fan of a 6 pack and a pound every now and then. Pricey? Yes. Would I eat one multiple times a week if it wouldn't end up killing me sooner than later? Yep.

    I agree w/ FTJ....real trees are the first ingredient in an F-Bomb holiday fruitcake. They are hell to work with plus you have pine needles in your carpet until the next Thanksgiving...

    Hey all, My wife and I just bought a $400 artificial tree from Steins and the dang top "branch" is not strong to hold a tree top star. What the heck!! For $400 you should get something sturdy enough to support a small child. What experiences have y'all had with tree toppers? Would you build a support for the star with a wooden dowel? Maybe get a fat Santa figurine instead? Rigging up the lights is the most stressful part of Christmas. Hammer Sorry if I offended a politically correct person or two by mentioning Christmas...

    The McDonalds Southern chicken. ACK! I took one bite and tossed the rest of the rancid thing out the window. I disagree w/ the Potato Ole's comment...those things rule...especially when mashed in to a soft shell taco!! MMM, I may just need to make a TJ's run right now!!

    I just updated my version of Java...hopefully that helps. I do not get an error message, it just says that it needs to restart. More to come...

    I was living in La Crosse in 2000-2001 and remember driving to Oconomowoc in a blizzard to pick up my then fiance to get her back in time to go to work on something like December 30th or so. She would get $500 for perfect attendance at her college job so I risked it. That was nearly a deadly decision as a semi missed going right over my car by about a foot. I still have bad dreams about that near accident...

    Hey all, I am having huge issues w/ both Firefox and Internet Explorer freezing up pretty frequently. It happens the most when I am leaving Yahoo mail but it also happens at some other websites. My OS is Windows Vista and I know that there have been bugs there. I am also using Trend Micro AntiVirus and Webroot Spy Sweeper. Any ideas? Thanks, Hammer

    One of the radio personalities up nort here said that George Graphos (sp?) in Green Bay told him yesterday that if the storm comes together on Wednesday the Fox Valley will get 6"-10" from the next storm. 2007-2008 winter all over again?

    Hey all, I'm bringing back an old thread to ask something different, but related. Do any of you know of some public hunting land in the Winnebago/Green Lake/Waushara County areas that has been producing deer this season? My father and I have hunted 3 places that total over 900 acres this season and have not gotten close enough to take a shot yet. Or, if you have some private land that isn't being used in this area I would even be willing to dish out a coupla bucks for access...my father is 65 and this is probably his last year of hunting due to health issues. I'm hoping to help him make it memorable. I'm not looking to blow up your spot so PM me if you have any ideas... Thanks, Hammer

    Crappy Faith No More (is there any other kind?) is a good comp for me as well. Appetite for Destruction, to me, was the apex of their history.

    I'm pretty sure that what you are referring to is the "Kobe rule". Last year (2 years ago?) Kobe was nailing guys with his left elbow on his way up for a jump shot. The rule was put in place shortly after several guys needed stitches...
