    Thanks for the tip Parkside. I have not had a 300 in a sanctioned league yet so I get a bit nervous around the 10th or 11th ball. I'm not sure what the deal is but I need to get over it. I actually had 19 straight strikes going in to that ball so I was fairly locked in. It came off my hand a little slow and flattened out causing it to dive right at the last 6-10 inches or so. I left the 4-6-8-10...quite a strange leave but oh well, it happened. I guess there is always next week...

    While not "fine dining" I am quite partial to Friar Tucks in Oshkosh (one in Fond du Lac as well). They have very good sandwiches and their soups are typically very good as well. I am not a hater of chains like a lot of others here so I will say this: Chili's has really become my "oh yay, we are going to Appleton" restaurant. It just tastes good to me there...

    I'm surprised that Prince "the volcano that is ready to blow" Fielder did not make more lists. I hate him as a player and a person almost as much as ARam and Big Z. The man stands for everything that I do not want to teach my son (other than hitting the ball very hard).

    I graduated from Omro High School. The school colors are Maroon and Gold and the mascot/name is the Foxes. I'm not 100% sure but I think that Gary Frank, previously of the NFL, is the only real famous person to come from this fine little town. http://www.bsewunique.com/fox.jpg

    Toby - Aren't you originally from this area? That seems to be something that I remember from months (years) ago. Anyway, there are things that I like about Omro...well, mainly that it isn't like the crappy part of Waukesha that I lived in for a couple of years http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I love the Pearl Lake area! I pretty much grew up in my parents' camper on the weekends and many of those were spent at Flanagan's Pearl Lake. I also love to fish so that whole area is pretty good for me...

    Nah, it really didn't look that way on TV. It looked like a concerted effort to go the other way with outside pitches...just my opinion though.

    Well said Diskono. What is it going to take for the angry kid to kill someone on the field? Getting plunked after a Braun homer? Getting heckled by a fan too close to him in the batting circle? This kid (I can't call him a man) is not even close to being long-term contract material...
