    T-Pain "Buy you a drink" has been jammed in my brain for about 3 weeks. About the time I forget the chorus I hear the song again on the radio. AHHH!!

    I started delivering papers to about half of the "city" of Omro when I was 11. Dirtiest job was working at a telemarketing company. It was not gross dirty, it was the crooked kind of dirty. We basically harassed people until they donated money to the policemans retirement fund. Not cool...

    I am now finished for the week. I will not watch a game, I will not check anything but the off topic thread...this team sucks. I was at the game and left after the 7th inning because I couldn't handle it any more. We drove to Mke and rented a hotel for this garbage!! What a waste of time and money...

I realize that he was 0-4 with 3k's last night but you need to be confident in your abilities in order to "make it" in the bigs.     Brett - I always read your posts because I generally agree with what you say. I do the same here, but what would you do instead? What things would you do to "jumpstart" the Brewers next year? Why not add a few nuggets instead of just shooting down the ideas that were thrown out here?

    Everyone always trashes all of the other picks in my leauge so I usually use "Lucky Pick" or "Blind Luck". RonMexico'sdogkennel is trashy but funny. You could also use "Ron Mexico - Professional VD merchant" or something like that http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    One last question (sorry, this just came to me). I am putting in a new cd deck into my car and some of them are able to be hooked up to an Ipod in a manner that you can use the deck to control the Ipod. Will this work in the same manner with any of the other brands? Thanks, Hammer

    Hi all, My wife and I are planning on getting either 1 or 2 MP3 players. Do we really need to get an Ipod or are there other brands that will do the same job for a better price (same quality though).     Just think about next year guys. Sheets, Yo and Parra as a 1-3. Small sample sizes be damned...Yo and Parra will be mowing some guys down... Edit - Oh yeah, duh. I forgot Carlos V. Wow, 3 very young and very good pitchers could be in the rotation next year. I'm guessing we can add a couple of high-quality players for Bush, CV or Cappy. Good things ahead (and this year is not a waste...yet)

    Screw their egos! Why not get the calls right in the billion-dollar business that is a childs game. Each call they blow could cost a team millions in playoff revenues. Sure, it is a 162 game season but every single game counts.

    This is not just in reference to the crappy call in the game tonight but in reference to this subject as a whole. Why can't there be an option for instant replay put in play for baseball. The umps are human, yes. The errors that they make sometimes change the outcomes of the games though! How about one "challenge" per game per team? That wouldn't slow the game down too much... There would obviously have to be rules about what could be challenged such as foul balls (chalk line and foul pole), caught balls, tagging up infractions, foul tips...etc. Thoughts?
