  1. We were going to lose a series sooner rather than later, but this isn't the way you wanted to do it..
  2. We need some arms, Arnold. Go get them.
  3. Shocking...Time to remove Bush from the set-up role.
  4. Matt Bush against the middle of the Red Sox order? Hopefully the ball stays in the yard.
  5. Brewers seem to think so, too. Reportedly, we're showing strong interest in Zack Britton...
  6. Yet another missed called strike 3 this series. Would hate for two games to turn on that...
  7. Milner walking lefties is never a good sign.
  8. I suppose in a non-outcome sense. But, outcome-wise, he was fine and should have had a scoreless inning (didn't walk anyone). Second inning is where he really ran into command problems. Was great after that, though.
  9. Was in response to the first inning when you made that comment. Nothing there was his fault aside from the doink single to Turner.
  10. That inning is great to see from Peguero. Honestly forgot he had even been called up to the 26 man roster. Could be one of the solutions in the bullpen, alongside Uribe. He has the stuff...
  11. Yelich just pounding the ball this season. Two 109.6 MPH balls in play..We may yet get something out of this contract, folks.
  12. It happens. Every year, there's some aces who start the season slow. Corbin isn't that far off, as exemplified by his D-backs start and the last few innings of today's start. Would like to see his velocity on the cutter get back up a tick or two, though.
  13. Come on Anderson. I like the addition (Where would we be without him?), but he still strikes out too much.
  14. Not much was Burnes' fault there...Didn't give up any hard contact and had an error and a bunt-swing single..
  15. Corbin needs to throw the cutter up in the zone more. Can't be exclusively working in the lower half.
  16. They got a cheap hit. We got a gift strike 3 call.
  17. No. Contreras' bat is just better, period. Hits the ball way harder than Narvaez ever has in his career.
  18. Precisely. Right now, CC is giving him the Narvaez treatment when Contreras' bat is so much better...
  19. Started in 16, with only 1 game at DH. That ratio's not good enough over the course of the season. No reason why Contreras shouldn't be an automatic start at DH against LHPs and even against some RHPs. Can still get the rest he needs from catching... Today, we're facing a righty, yes, but Bello is the type of pitcher that Contreras typically feasts off of. If Winker were hot, I might agree, but he's not. And Winker also has an injury history which requires his fair share of days off.
