  1. More Mitchell. Less Frelick.
  2. Yeah, that's not one of his better takes.
  3. Wouldn't have much use out of the bullpen in the postseason either.
  4. And the Dodgers just took the lead....
  5. Wouldn't give them the win, yet. It's 2-1 now after Ohtani just hit #47.
  6. I want no part of Rea starting a game in the postseason. Too many homers and hard hit balls. Too few Ks. He's been getting by on smoke and mirrors.
  7. Hard to imagine a worse AB from Turang. Shouldn't be in the lineup tonight.
  8. CB is atrocious. These pitches aren't even close.
  9. Colin Rea coming back down to earth and probably costing himself a postseason start.
  10. Snell has been really, really good lately aside from his last start. Could be tough to score runs tonight. Going to have to try to run up his pitch count as he will walk guys.
  11. We have the best run differential in baseball. We should win games at a decent clip despite our schedule, too. I don't think we're likely to catch the Dodgers, but it's far, far more realistic than the Cubs catching us.
  12. They're three times as close to the Dodgers as they are to the Cubs. They'll be a game closer to the Dodgers than the Phillies. 2.5 games isn't insurmountable at all, even if not likely.
  13. People are going to love tonight's lineup. lol
  14. Without Acuna and Strider and all of their major players having down years (Albies is no guarantee to come back btw as he's still having issues with his wrist and Riley is almost certain to miss the Wild Card round), the worst I see is pick 'em. Home field advantage will matter to the betting markets, even if it hasn't shown to matter as much in real life the last couple years.
  15. Dbacks have greater than 80% chance of making the postseason and are behind the Brewers in Pennant and WS odds. I think the Brewers would be slight betting favorites against any of those teams at this moment with home field advantage. Maybe a pick-em with the Dbacks but that matchup is unlikely to happen.
  16. They have higher WS and Pennant odds than the Mets and Braves, which is a pretty good indication.....
  17. Behind paywall, but JC ranked #1 ahead of Skenes and Merrill (and Holliday, Wood, Langford, Caminero, etc.) for all rookies. Not for ROTY race which Skenes or Merrill are going to win, but in terms of future career value. https://www.espn.com/mlb/insider/story/_/id/41195287/mlb-2024-graduated-prospect-rankings-jackson-chourio-jackson-merrill-paul-skenes
  18. Nice job pitching himself out of trouble there by Freddy.
  19. Phillies also lose tonight, too, if we still care about that sort of thing. Which I would say we should until we at least complete our 3 game series with them.
  20. Amazing how this team just refuses to lose 4 in a row. 10 game lead in the division. Too bad I was told this was just another typical late-season collapse....
  21. A Brewers win to lower the magic number and good news on this guy!
