  1. Interesting, I would pinch hit Rowdy here...
  2. Maybe. He's still gotta be able to swing the bat, though.
  3. It varies depending on the severity. From a couple weeks to a couple months to season ending. Most likely, a month or two...
  4. On the bright side, Lauer might go 8...
  5. Well, those three at-bats were absolutely terrible after the Wiemer double..
  6. Heat up Joey! His underlying numbers are actually a lot more encouraging than Mitchell's...
  7. Man Gonzales is just dotting the edges...
  8. Gonzales seems like he's going to be the typical soft tossing lefty that shuts us down and approaches a career high in Ks
  9. Garrett Mitchell showing why his prospect stature is a little lower than Chourio, Frelick, and Wiemer's...high K%/GB% combo and always injured... Too bad about Frelick's thumb. That combined with the 40 man spot probably did the trick. Depending on how severe Mitchell's shoulder sublaxation is he could still end up as the starting CF in relatively short order.
  10. Was hoping the D-backs could finish off the sweep today, but then I realized Madison Bumgarner was pitching...That's one contract that's nearly as bad as Yelich's.
  11. I hope he does and the clubhouse discord continues the entire season.
  12. This is pretty clearly going to be an IL stint. Can be very serious depending on severity. Fernando Tatis Jr. had it in 2021 and only missed about 10 days, but ended up requiring surgery after the season. Brian Anderson had it in 2021 and missed a significant amount of time on the 60-day IL, also requiring surgery. If it's more on the short-term side like Tatis, you could see Perkins. However, if it's much longer than that, I think you're going to see Frelick as the new starting CF in place of Mitchell...
  13. Woodruff can also be moved to the 60 IL to create a spot...I'm not saying he will get the call, but it's only a matter of time until Sal Frelick takes a 40 man spot, so you'd only be delaying the inevitable.
  14. Yeah, I don't know if I'll go that far lol
