As a veteran, there is no ethical issue with this, stipulation being that you purchase/acquire decorations that he has earned. I made a shadow box for my FIL and bought new decs for it. It is the act that was performed for the medal that is meaningful, the medal itself not so much, IMO. Often, in today’s military, the medal that is pinned on in ceremony is reused. With the exception of a few, medals are rather meaningless, and are glamorized by film.

Statistics as a whole are backward facing. Do all the math you want, stats will never tell you what will happen next. Sabre has really taken a lot of enjoyment out of the game itself for me, so I choose to ignore them at this point. They are useful in large sample, but the majority are not predictive. There are just too many pitch by pitch variables. Enjoy the game however you please, but it just comes off as condescending to me when people use words like “I view the game through a more advanced lens”. You just look at different numbers that tell you what already happened.

When he gets hot it will be fun to watch, seems to have some Domingo in him. When he’s cold he’s ice cold, hot red hot. Not much gray area.

I don’t think the timing is any form of conspiracy. I doubt that the people who dig these up are sports fans, the timing coincides with them gaining public notice. Teenage boys are dumb, they say dumb things. Not excusing behavior, but in a vacuum...how do their agents not have a team of people scrubbing their social media history?

People are so outraged by this. We cut our losses. Injuries killed him, and he didn’t fit the team. People would be screaming next year when he’s getting 20M to lead the second team. He’s a good kid, hope he has a bounce back year and signs a huge contract. I won’t lose sleep over his one. I love what Christian Wood is doing. I think he’ll be better than our draft pick. Hope we can sign him to a deal. Summer league is meaningless, but man he looks like what we need inside.

He can rebound and defend the rim. We don’t have anyone like that. He is also a head case. Not sure he’s worth the trouble, but he has a desirable skill set.

Package the pick with a dead salary for relief. Don’t care if we get a pick this year. Not a Bamba believer at all. Get something for Parker after the draft. Miami doesn’t like Whiteside, he’d help this team, although not a fan.

While I see the point you are making, Gordon and Anderson are true 3 point shooters. That’s about all Anderson can do.

I like he draft so far. Grab some beef for the o-line, maybe a WR, and another edge and I’m happy.

I watched Dubon strike out the other night, while the end result was bad, the at bat wasn't. I don't dislike his swing, and he appears to be fairly confident at the plate. I'm hopeful he becomes something for us.

Don't think Vaughn had enough time to unpack. On his way to New Orleans for Dante Cunningham. Gotta say I'd rather have Cunningham than Zeller.
