No chance. That send of Lara was one of the worst sends I've ever seen. He was out by like 20ft lol!
-
LUKE ADAMES BAILS OUT ESTEVEZ WITH A BLOOP SINGLE TO RF! RATTLERS WIN!
-
That's just a horrendous send from Estevez at 3B with 1 out and Luke Adams coming up. Unspeakably bad. Lara was out by about 20ft.
-
6-4 River Bandits. Defense failing both A ball teams tonight.
-
Grounder to Pratt who has a farely routine play at 3B but he fumbles the transfer and runners on the corner with 0 outs...not good
-
Oh brother. Bayden Root gives up a leadoff single and then spikes a FB about 3ft outside for a wild pitch on the very next pitch. Go ahead run on 2B with 0 outs.
-
Wow that's horrendous defense from Vargas in LF. What should have been a warning track flyout to end the inning turns into a go ahead RBI double because Vargas started coming in on the ball that went over his head.
-
Shoutout to Rund who got the double play to strand the runners on the corners situation that he inherited from Sanchez
-
JADHER AREINAMO, COOPER PRATT, and TAYDEN HALL TURN AN AMAZING DOUBLE PLAY TO KEEP THE SCORE 3-2!
-
Estevez trying to follow suit by leaving in Rudy 2 batters too long tonight.
-
Wisconsin had runners on the corners with 1 out and Ramon Rodriguez pinch hitting against a LHP for Matthew Wood grounds into an inning ending double play. Rattlers down 3-2 as we head to the 7th inning.
-
Carolina's pitching staff by the playoffs was unfortunately just a shell of the pitching staff that it was during the majority of the season. Outside of Manuel Rodriguez basically every single good pitcher was either on the IL or promoted by the time the playoffs showed up and it showed in the series.
-
Pinch running for a guy on 2B who isn't the tying or go ahead run seems pretty pointless.
-
Yhoswar Garcia pinch hitting for Blayberg Diaz hits a ground ball to the pitcher to end the Mudcats season. Sad end to the Mudcats season 2 years in a row.
-
Tying run now on base for Carolina but 2 outs.
-
Well the Mudcats have brought the tying run to the plate
-
And Carolina's season is as good as over. Down 5-2 now.
-
Seppings throws his first pitch to the backstop about 3ft outside. Just an absolute meltdown for Carolina.
-
Bad managing all around the last 10 mintues. Estevez leaves Rudy in too long and lets him face 2 dangerous LHH in Nivens and Caglione for a 3rd time. It comes back to bite the Rattlers in the backside and they are now down 3-2.
-
And Pena walks the next hitter on 4 pitches as well. Bases loaded 0 outs. Just an unspeakably bad decision to use one of your worst RP in this scenario.
-
Pena walks the next hitter on 4 pitches. It's spiraling out of control.
-
That leadoff HBP steals 2B and the go ahead run is on 2nd with 0 outs.
-
And Pena hits the leadoff hitter on a 2-2 count. I feel that Carolina will be losing when they come to bat in the 9th inning.
-
Mudcats go down 1-2-3 on 6 pitches in the 8th inning. Jeison Pena in to pitch. Can't say I love bringing in a reliever with a 5.02 ERA in the 9th inning of a tied win or go home game...

MUDCATS GET OUT OF IT! A liner hit to Guilarte at SS and he doubles off the runner at 3rd (no thanks to Baez who for some reason tried to tag the runner instead of stepping on the base)
