  1. Woessner's first AAA inning didn't go well. 2 HR given up.
  2. Pretty sure AA and AAA use the same baseballs. They didn't last season in the first half obviously, but pretty sure AA, AAA, and MLB are supposed to be using the same ball with A and A+ using a different ball. I think the AAA ERA being so high is mostly because the automated strike zone is significantly smaller than human zones in AA.
  3. Shows how good the 19-11 Brewers are for being a bullpen letdown away from sweeping the Orioles in their own house. The Orioles that haven't been swept in like 100 or something series in a row.
  4. In addition to those names: SS Luis Lameda promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 RHP Dikember Sanchez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 C Yannic Walther promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 SS Pedro Ibarguen promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 C Eric Martinez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Gery Holguin promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 RHP Aneuris Rodriguez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Filippo Di Turi promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 RHP Ismael Yanez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 OF Antony Gomez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Luiyin Alastre promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 Interestingly no Demetrio Nadal.
  5. He's already been optioned back down to AAA. Only up for 1 day.
  6. I’ll got 15-13.
  7. Juan Baez walks it off with a chopper up the middle that gets through with the infield in. Mudcats win!
  8. Hey good job Tayden Hall. Grounder to 2B to advance the runner. 2B botches the routine play and we have runners on the corners with 0 outs.
  9. Yeah thank the lord the Brewers didn't sign him like I wanted. That contract would be an absolute boat anchor for the franchise.
  10. Jeison Pena throws a scoreless 12th inning despite giving up 2 hits because Yophery Rodriguez gunned down a runner at home on a single to CF. Maybe Carolina will put the ball in play a few times in the 12th.
  11. Jeison Pena on to pitch for Carolina. I fear the 12th inning will be the last inning of the game.
  12. Pratt strikes out as well. Mudcats have been struck out 19 times through 11 innings. Bayden Root has to be pretty upset having tossed 2 scoreless innings in extras only for the bats to put 2 balls in play in 2 innings.
  13. Yophery works a long AB and hits a flyball to RF which would have been plenty deep enough to score a run if Guilarte could have advanced the Manfred runner.
  14. 4 strikeouts on the night for Guilarte now as well.
  15. Shane Smith after giving up a single, double, single in his 2nd inning? Infield popout and 5 straight strikeouts. He strikes out the side in the 7th on 14 pitches.
  16. He's not on the 40-man, but he's not been very good this year. Definitely a bit of early regret with Canha playing well in Detroit.
  17. 110 EV, 430ft on the Ernesto Martinez Jr blast.
  18. Reidy Mercado strikes out. 31 combined strikeouts between Columbia and Carolina through 10 innings.
  19. Golden Sombrero for Kay-Lan Nicasia. 0-4 with 4 SO.
  20. Yeah a good outing and probably how he needs to pitch to find success until he gets back to his pre-injury velo levels. It does suck a bit to watch him basically have to be a junkballer to get by in AAA, but maybe in the long run this will benefit Ashby as a pitcher.
  21. Ashby not really locating well at all, but I don't think these Norfolk hitters have any clue what pitch he's about to throw. He's thrown all 5 of his pitches between 15 and 21 times.
  22. Smith turned it around. Infield popup then two strikeouts. Good job from him not letting the inning spiral.
  23. Shane Smith's struggles have made an appearance in inning number 2. Single, double, single to open the inning for the Smokies and it's suddenly a tight game again 5-3.
  24. Yophery starts out the 9th with another strikeout. I was hoping that strikeout rate would have started to trend down at this point, but it continues sitting in that mid to upper 30's range.
  25. Ernesto Martinez just hit an absolute bomb. Unfortunately no EV or distance, but I did not see the ball drop over the fence in RF.
