  1. Black and Hicklen were both scratched so it wasn't just Black
  2. Did I miss Ernesto Martinez Jr getting hurt?
  3. Looks like Nicasia got injured in the OF. Hopefully it wasn't a bad wall crash like Mendez in 2022.
  4. Could be an ump injury. Foul ball off the ump.
  5. Though this seems to be a lengthy injury delay. This is why having even a radio feed would be nice by Down East doesn't even have that.
  6. Whenever I see an injury delay after a foul ball I assume it's from a foul ball off the foot/ankle/knee.
  7. Brewer Hicklen was late scratched as well.
  8. Tyler Black late scratched from the Sounds lineup. I don't believe he's eligible to be recalled until 5/18 so hopefully this isn't something injury related.
  9. Cooper Pratt hits a HR and we don't get to see it because stupid Down East don't have a camera
  10. Even saying they will probably make it is a reach. Devanney has been a smack average AAA guy for over a year now. Brady has put up solid numbers in the minors but he doesn't strike many hitters out.
  11. Feels like you're exaggerating what we gave up for Clarke. We traded Cam Devanney who best case scenario is a bench IF in the MLB and Ryan Brady whose likely best case scenario is a middle reliever in the MLB. These are very low level prospects that we gave up to get Clarke.
  12. I think it's pretty safe to rule out a reunion. Lauer's velo is down from where it was last year and he has not been good in AAA. He opted out in hope of getting a major league deal somewhere I would imagine, and I don't see how he's an upgrade over our current rotation options in Freddy, Rea, Wilson, Ross, Gasser, Myers and Hall off the IL in the next few weeks.
  13. I doubt it will be that quick. His velo is down like 2 mph from last year.
  14. Where did you get those numbers? Honestly when an ump is that bad and one sided it’s hard to believe it’s just random.
  15. Washington calling for a suicide squeeze against a super wild pitcher was way worse than the attempt. Hey go up there and suicide squeeze against a pitcher who can't throw a strike to save his life then I will double down and lie and say the pitcher was throwing strikes.
  16. Miller seems to have seriously improved his arm this offseason.
  17. Did anyone else see Ron Washington's embarrassing press conference last night? Angels are a laughing stock of a franchise
  18. That's probably his only saving grace at this point. If White continues to pitch better than him going forward then when the pitching gets healthy he's definitely headed to a DFA.
  19. I loved that outing from White. Up 8 runs and dude just pounded the strike zone. I think Vieira can be DFA'd and his spot goes to shuttle arms who can be optioned. White can be the mop up guy.
  20. Adames is 19th in the MLB in fWAR. He's an incredibly valuable player based on ability despite people here hating on him all the time.
  21. I'm not saying Joey Ortiz is a superstar, but he absolutely has superstar potential. His power is very real and he seems to be learning how to better tap into it this year. The ceiling is super high for the kid.
  22. Man we need to enjoy Contreras. This is a special ball player.
  23. No clue what Monasterio is doing there.
  24. Sadly this isn't BruisedCrew pessimism. That lineup is rotten looking. Hopefully Perez command sucks because I think we might need a lot of free passes to put up runs today.
  25. Man Frelick must just be getting horrible jumps this year. The catch probability on his two diving catches last night were 60% on the one coming in and 85% on the Cutch one going back. Perkins probably makes those plays look pretty routine with very little fanfare.
