  1. Andrew Abbott, a college LHP, was drafted 53rd overall in the 2021 draft. Brewers drafted Russell Smith, a college LHP, 51st overall. Smith currently has a 6.75 ERA in AA and doesn't look like a guy who will ever pitch in the MLB while Abbott is making his MLB debut tomorrow. That's kind of a bummer.
  2. Jarvis gives up 2.90 BB/9 and no minor league pitchers average 6 IP per game. What is this nonsense? If you’re going to churn out like 20 articles a week can you at the bare minimum not have every article riddled with incorrect data?
  3. The single was kind of a jam shot to right field and he was shaking out his thumb in clear discomfort. Then on the SB the ball got by the Peoria SS and hit Brown in the groin area. Hopefully it was just precautionary and not something that will cause him to hit the IL or miss time.
  4. With the win tonight, Wisconsin guarantees their first series win since the first 6 game series of the season. They are starting to play some good baseball.
  5. Contreras is fine. He's pretty middle of the pack in terms of pop time. Caratini has the worst pop-time in the MLB. But our pitchers were doing terrible jobs holding runners today. Most of these SB the catchers never even had a shot at getting the runner.
  6. Think that will probably be it for Woessner. 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO. 89 pitches, 60 for strikes. His most impressive outing of the season.
  7. The Tyler Woessner that has showed up today looks like a guy who is going to be in the MLB someday. FB is sitting 95-97 at the top of the zone. Changeup, slider, curveball all have flashed today. He's looked absolutely filthy.
  8. Devin just has terrible command today. Leaving the changeups up in the zone and can't throw a FB for a strike.
  9. Rea has been quite the offseason pickup for the Brewers. Who knows where they would be without him. He's made 9 starts and has gone 5+ in 8 of them. He's also yet to give up more than 4 ER in a start. He's been a big time upgrade of Jason Alexander last season.
  10. 100%. Nobody can luck their way into a 132 wRC+ in AAA.
  11. Damn...Big Jon just was early and missed a monstrous HR
  12. An alarming trend. Teams are starting to run at will against us.
  13. He's currently in Appleton with the Timber Rattlers just working out (BP and fielding drills)
  14. Perkins over Turang against a RHP does not bode well for Turang staying on the roster when Urias and Adames get back.
  15. Knee banged into the metal end of the tarp chasing a foul ball. Severely cut his knee and needed stitches. He’s likely headed to the IL with the news of Singleton being called up.
  16. Honestly so happy for Singleton. I think the move is fine. Winker is on the IL so we don't exactly have a LHH DH to face RHP at the moment. Let Singleton get those AB. This is how I would lineup tomorrow. 1. Yelich, LF 2. Miller, 3B 3. Tellez, 1B 4. Contreras, C 5. Anderson, RF 6. Singleton, DH 7. Monasterio, 2B 8. Turang, SS 9. Wiemer, CF
  17. Cardinals bullpen blew a 5-1 lead to the Pirates in the 7th inning. They currently don't have a single pitcher on their active roster with an ERA below 3.50
  18. Ethan Small blows a 3-1 Nashville lead in the 8th inning. Just getting rocked. 107, 100, 109 EV against him. It's 3-3 now and Small got pulled with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd.
  19. Weird that you didn't make a comment when I criticized the umps for giving Devin Williams a generous strike call.
  20. This is probably the 2nd worst offense in the league behind Cleveland.
  21. This ump is just so bad lol. The scorecard tomorrow is going to be a doozy
  22. Don't do it for the service time, do it because he's a liability and belongs in AAA right now.
  23. Caratini should probably be on DFA watch if his bat continues to fall apart. He's a liability behind homeplate. 20 SB to 2 CS and the worst pop time in the MLB.
