  1. Gasser's command continuing to be a major issue. 3 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 7 SO, 1 HBP today. He had a bases loaded HBP and BB. Took him 84 pitches to get through 3 innings. Only 45 of 84 were strikes and only 29 of 84 were in the strike zone. Getting to be a bit alarming how poor his command has been since he got to AAA.
  2. They are a very painful watch at the moment. Jesus Chirinos already has 3 errors in now his 10th game playing 1B this year.
  3. It's very likely Sousa is on the MLB roster for 2 days and will be optioned back to AAA when Houser gets activated on Sunday. This isn't an insult to anyone.
  4. Biloxi released a second lineup with both Zamora and Black absent. Zamora still hasn't played since the awkward slide the other night where he seemed to have discomfort in his left thumb. Really hoping Black isn't hurt. He's been the highlight of the system so far this season.

  5. Don’t see JD Davis remotely being an option. No chance the Giants are sellers this early into the season. Eduardo Escobar looks completely washed so I’d pass on that too. Cron’s walk and K rates haven’t been good since the start of last season and his home/road splits have been crazy since he got to Colorado. Tellez is also our best hitter so 1B doesn’t remotely feel like a need.
  6. Whole site seems to be having issues today. Wasn't just the game thread.

  7. Think it's time for him to get a day off. He's started every game this season and is a brutal slump. 2 for his last 31 I believe.
  8. Very nice that during our roughest stretch of the season the other NLC have all struggled as well. Would have loved to gain some seperation in the division but not losing ground is still good.
  9. He also struck out only 16% of the time in the last week so those whiff and chase numbers are likely not accurate.
  10. They haven't updated that prospect live site in some time so I don't think those numbers are up to date. For example it has Ethan Small with 115 pitches thrown this season. When he's thrown 190 pitches. Seems like they are missing about 2 weeks worth of data.
  11. Here are some stats behind this. Not counting tonight, in the Brewers last 15 game they have a 72 wRC+ (29th), 57 runs (24th), 13 HR (22nd), 8.1 BB% (19th), 27 K% (29th). The offense has been absolutely terrible for 2+ weeks now.
  12. It's basically impossible for OF to get errors. They should not be that generous.
  13. I'm just sad this hurts Andrews ERA. He doesn't deserve an earned run.
  14. Some absolutely embarrassing defense by the Sounds this inning.
  15. Isaac Collins having a brutal time in LF. What should have been a routine play turns into a double and 2 runs because of a horrible jump and failing to keep the ball in front of him.
  16. Clayton Andrews definitely did not have his command but still worked a 1-2-3 inning without anything hit hard.
  17. Small gets 2 quick outs then gives up a bloop double. 70 EV, 45 LA. Hopefully he can find his way out of this.
  18. Ethan Small out for a 3rd inning here. That seems notable.
  19. He's put together like 5 straight quality appearances. Love to see this from him.
  20. Fantastic pitching out of Small today. 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 SO in a super efficient 27 pitches.
  21. I think Ethan Small will probably come back out for a 2nd inning but that was a very quality 1st inning from him. 1 hit (soft liner) and 3 strikeouts while consistently pounding the zone.
  22. Thankfully they took him out before he seriously hurt himself. 6 WP and 3 walks this inning and night and day difference between the 1st and 2nd innings in terms of his control.
  23. I'm guessing this is because of his hamstring. All of these WP have been yanked away towards the glove side.
  24. 5 WP this inning now from Herrera. Willy somebody please get this kid out of the game before he seriously hurts himself.
  25. Definitely feels like he should be out of the game. 4 WP before he even gets a single out this inning is not a good sign. Clearly his leg is bothering him still.
