  1. The AB quality disparity in this series has been very large especially when you factor in the pitching quality gap. You switch pitching staffs and the Cubs would be boat racing us. Their AB have been so much better all series against much tougher pitching than our hitters have faced
  2. Arnold needs to revamp the bullpen and very quick. This bullpen cannot get us through an 18 in 17 stretch
  3. That 2 strike pitch call to Hoerner was amateur hour from Contreras. Turang is shifted up the middle leaving a gigantic hole on the right side of the infield and you fall for a backdoor sinker? A five year old could have told you that was going to end in a single through the huge hole between Turang and Vaughn.
  4. My Sharks just drafted a 7'1 280lb dude in the 7th round. Don't think I'll ever be more invested in a 7th round pick than I am with this guy.
  5. I was following the Mets-Cubs game last night and that Mets roster is laughable for the amount of money they spent on it. Like I totally understand why Mets fans are pissed and want him gone.
  6. Tonight was a great night for me. Brewers beat the Cubs and my Sharks had what I think was a fantastic draft.
  7. Murphy mentioned in Cincinatti that his mechanics are off. He's drifting forward and it's throwing off his whole swing.
  8. It wasn't a sac bunt. He was trying to bunt for a hit. Rea had a nice defensive play. Agree though that he should not have been trying to bunt for a hit there.
  9. Nutty raw power from Blake Burke. It's not easy to hit at 40 LA at 113mph. For reference there are only 7 players in the statcast era who have hit the ball 113+mph at 40+ LA. Here's the list Ohtani (4x) Judge (2x) Harper (2x) Wallner (2x) Alonso (1x) Greene (1x) Alvarez (1x)
  10. He's on the temporary inactive list so probably not with the team
  11. I say no reason to be ethical when MLB is trying to scrape every last dollar out of you to watch your local baseball team.
  12. You can make a throwaway gmail account (takes like 5 minutes) and use that gmail account to make a new apple account so you can do another free trial
  13. Google Apple TV free trial. Sign up for that then cancel the free trial after the Brewers game tonight.
  14. With the state of the Cubs bullpen, I think it would be a failure by the offense to allow Rea to go more than 5 innings.
  15. Yeah in the final two games of that series the Mets allowed 9 unearned runs which just doesn’t even feel real.
  16. Fredericksburg starter tonight is 25 and has a 2.78 ERA with over a 3:1 K:BB ratio. Another guy who would have been bumped to A+ weeks ago if he was in the Brewers system.
  17. Whenever we play Fredericksburg it's a great reminder how important age is when it comes to minor league success. Fredericksburg are pretty consistently one of the oldest teams in the Carolina League. The guy who started for them today is 23 and had a sub 3 ERA with a 5 to 1 K:BB ratio over nearly 70 innings this year. He had few issues with the young Wilson lineup. If this pitcher was in the Brewers org, he would have been in A+ like 10 starts ago.
  18. Schmitt is the guy I mentioned earlier this year as the one I would want if we traded for anyone from the Giants. His swing decisions are really bad but I think the Brewers have shown to be pretty good at improving swing decisions (Andrew Vaughn last year in big flashing lights). Schmitt could be our everyday 3B and he can also play some 2B and 1B or corner OF in an emergency (obviously the OF is not ideal). He really does make a lot of sense as a Brewers target but he has 3 more years of control after this season so I'm not sure how interested the Giants are in trading him. Like he could be their starting 2B after they trade Arraez.
  19. If you're Rule 5 eligible you're eligible for the minor league portion as well. Obviously you can be protected if you're put on the AAA roster but we never see the actual protected lists for the minor league portion.
  20. He's a FA at the end of the year
  21. MLB Pipeline hasn’t done any updates since February. That list is crazy outdated at this time of the year.
  22. This is not remotely true. Hardin is our second best SP prospect and Adamczewski might be the best pure hitting prospect the Brewers have. Adamczewski is already making Top 100 lists (he’s 76 at BA for reference) and Hardin has been getting some steam as well not in terms of Top 100 but he’d be a Top 10 prospect in the vast majority of MLB systems
