  1. Yelich has graded out as an average baserunner this year likely because his sprint speed is down 1 ft/sec and he’s now below 50th percentile by sprint speed.
  2. Yeah I think talent wise we just haven’t had a team this good. Even with some of the soft skills deteriorating a bit namely baserunning and fielding range (OAA) the team is winning more than they ever have previously. Don’t think we have had this combo of pitching and offense before. The early 2020 teams were much more pitching heavy. The last two years were more hitting, speed, defense heavy. Now we have such a good combo of pitching and offense.
  3. They are really winning on the back of talent this year. Haven't played the clean baseball we are used to seeing from them which I think is a testament to how much the talent on the team has improved.
  4. Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere. I searched Quero and didn't find anything. Is Quero battling some type of injury keeping him from catching? He hasn't caught a game in nearly two weeks.
  5. That’s not remotely enough to get those two.
  6. Some Ragsdale info in today's roboscout article. For reference Bo Davidson is 83 on BA's Top 100 and Top 10 in the Giants list by both Fangraphs and Pipeline
  7. Do you have the full price Youtube TV plan or do you have one of the smaller packages?
  8. NBCSN Extra is only on Xfinity and Youtube TV I believe so if you don't have either of those you wouldn't be able to watch.
  9. I know Sproat didn't pitch well today and the team really needed him to go more than 4 innings but I came away feeling pretty good about him. I mean we saw this version of Sproat earlier this year at the start of the season where he didn't have it and would just completely implode and give up a bunch of runs. The fact he was able to grind it out and only give up 1 run was a real sign of growth for me. Feel like his mental fortitude has come a long way from where it was to start the season.
  10. Pretty unbelievable to win a series where your SP went 2.2, 3.2, 4.0 innings giving up 7 runs and you only scored 9 runs in "regulation"
  11. Coming into today they had a 78 wRC+ with RISP since 6/16 which was 25th in MLB. That number will drop again after today. In that time span however they are 2nd in MLB with 193 PA with RISP and 14 ahead of the team in 3rd. You're right the team is hitting well but just not cashing in when they need to. Tonight was a great example of that. In this stretch they are 11-7 so they are still winning games which is all you can really ask for during a RISP ebb.
  12. Brewers are 1-10 with RISP and 10 LOB. Dbacks are 1-1 with RISP with 0 LOB lol
  13. Yeli back to regularly scheduled broadcasting there when he faced a pitcher who didn't throw him a 91mph meatball FB
  14. Very juvenile AB from them. Kelly's hard stuff was getting crushed that inning. Should have absolutely been expecting him to go soft with a runner on 3rd and less then 2 outs
  15. 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and Kelly threw 6 pitches none within half a foot of the strike zone and got 2 outs. That's just horrific from Vaughn and Frelick.
  16. He looked better against Arizona this year when he was throwing 85 than when he was throwing 92
  17. I'm worried Woodruff is hurt again. His FB averaged like 87mph in the 3rd inning and was getting misread as cutters because the velo was so low.
  18. How long do you think we have to wait until Yelich is dropped to the bottom half of the order? Dude just whiffed on a 94mph FB right down the middle and hit another weak grounder.
  19. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Brewers are tied for 1st in FRV since Pratt was called up. Our defense has been a bit of a rough spot this year compared to previous years but that seems to be turning. Pratt has been good at SS and shifting the Ortiz/Hamilton platoon to 3B has been a big boon for the 3B defense. Also helps that guys like Frelick and Mitchell seem to be settling in defensively after poor starts to the year.
  20. I think there’s no chance they trade Lara a couple months after signing him to a long year deal.
  21. If I had to bet I'd bet Adamczewski. I just think he's a special hitter. I think he can be what Jake Bauers has been for the Brewers this year.
  22. You would be correct. Win probability dropped to 18% after the Brewers didn't score in the Top of the 10th and that's based on all games and scenarios. Doesn't factor in that we were using our 5th/6th best reliever against the heart of the Dbacks order.
  23. I just hated the whole sequence. If you're pinch running Perkins there you need to get him moving. Instead Pratt first pitch bunted and it basically didn't matter at all that Perkins was the runner.
