  1. Against a LHP which wasn’t the point of the thread. Everyone would take Vaughn over Frelick against LHP. Even Frelick’s mother.
  2. Cubs just traded for David Peterson from the Mets. I’d guess he’s going to start against us this weekend
  3. Brewers pitchers threw 214 pitches today. 23.8 pitches per inning. No clue how the Brewers won that game
  4. Murphy about to reap what he sowed on Sunday. Patrick clearly doesn’t have it.
  5. He’s also super slow and not very good defensively so all of his value is in his bat which doesn’t profile very well for AmFam
  6. Unless he has a super quick 4th inning I think he’s done after the 4th
  7. Brewers might come to regret not using Rom the day before he was being sent down up 7 runs and instead having Patrick throw 3 innings
  8. I don't think it changes anything you said, but he's 25 and turns 26 in September.
  9. If his scouting report is accurate from BA, I don't think he's going to go Top 10. Think there's enough question with the hit tool to keep him from rising that high. Late first seems more likely.
  10. The Brewers would say no to that. Plus I don't even think Houston is going to sell.
  11. I think this is who the Brewers draft in the 1st round if they don't like any of the college bats that fall to them. Just feels like a Brewers move. Extremely young. Great frame and projection. Premium defensive position. I see @snoogans8056 beat me to it.
  12. It will be interesting to see what happens with this DSL season. Right now the offensive numbers in that league are at a staggeringly high level. For comparison Jackson Chourio in his DSL season had a .403 wOBA which translated to a 130 wRC+. Ricki Moneys coming into today had a .402 wOBA which was a 97 wRC+. Virtually identical production but one was 30% better than the league average and the other is sitting at 3% below league average.
  13. I know Cedar Rapids aren't as good as they traditionally have been this year but to start 2-0 against them after having your two best hitters promoted to AA is really impressive.
  14. Just on TV. 10 EV more on the Bitonti blast could explain the extra 60ft haha. You don't see many players hitting the ball out of the park to straightaway CF in this park.
  15. Bitonti just hit a baseball farther than I think I've ever seen in this park. Think it went over the batter's eye in CF at 112 EV.
  16. He has a minor hamstring injury
  17. He didn't go three in a row but yesterday was 4 of 5.
  18. Uribe is serving his suspension tonight. Good time to get it out of the way.
  19. I don't see any reason why they couldn't expand seating some more. Personally I'd love for Wisconsin to become a AAA team eventually and then like Madison gets an A ball team.
  20. I wouldn't touch any of Ashby, Uribe, or Megill tonight. There's no need to go three days in a row at this point of the year especially with an 18 in 17 stretch starting on Friday. Let them get two days off and enter that stretch fresh. I'd honestly prefer Patrick doesn't get used either.
  21. That's the dream but I think they would need to add quite a bit of seating to become a AAA team
  22. Timber Rattlers scorebug also shows EV and distance for the HR which is a nice feature
  23. I'm pretty sure that's saying they can be used in either game in the one scenario and specifically one game in the other scenario.
