  1. So you're just going to ignore the facts presented to you, so you can just keep your original opinion?
  2. He was literally on Foul Territory within the last week and talked about having multiple offers. Question starts at 15:15. Also here's a excerpt from an MLB.com article in February 2024 shortly after he signed where it was said he nearly signed with another team before Milwaukee made it's final pitch.
  3. Tough year for him. Maybe you've had a recent update and I missed it, but any news on Broughton and if/when he will pitch this year?
  4. Who are you DFA'ing to make that happen? Also while Oliva's production looks quite good, the underlying numbers are really bad pretty much across the board.
  5. You recall incorrectly. He's spoken about it publicly that he had multiple offers there at the end.
  6. The buyout really doesn't matter after it happens. It's sunk cost at that point. Like Woodruff isn't going to accept the QO saying I'm getting $30M to stay in Milwaukee.
  7. UDFA are the same as rounds 11-20. Anything over $150K counts against the bonus pool.
  8. No Woodruff owes nothing to the Brewers. He had multiple suitors and chose to come back to Milwaukee. It's not like the Brewers threw him a bone when nobody else in MLB wanted him.
  9. Which puts us at 148 current stateside players. 17 open spots
  10. Yeah called up on 6/12 so 45 days service time is 7/26.
  11. Misiorowski hits 45 days service time in 10 days.
  12. I can't say I pay super close attention but do you guys also keep track of prospect graduations? For example Misiorowski will probably be 1 or 2 on the prospect rankings but he's set to graduate from prospect status just a few days after the voting closes.
  13. Wouldn't it make more sense to wait until we know what picks sign and after the trade deadline where some prospects may be traded?
  14. If he was for sure down for the year they would have put him on the full season IL. Moving him from the 7 Day to the 60 Day just makes it so he no longer counts toward the 165 player stateside limit.
  15. So 151 haha. I am including Elvin Rodriguez as well who is technically not on Nashville's roster as he's still in the DFA process. So technically it's 150 at the moment. Edit: Avans is also in the DFA process so technically 149. I've been slacking
  16. By my sheet the Brewers now have 13 open slots on the 165 player stateside limit. 33 in AAA, 30 in AA, 31 in A+, 31 in A, 27 in ACL for 152.
  17. Yeah he ending up pitching the 8th.
  18. I'm going all in on the conspiracy that Misiorowski was added to the AS roster to try and boost his odds of finishing Top 2 in ROTY and getting out of Milwaukee a year earlier if they don't even bother to pitch him. The whole point of him being added was because he was available to pitch.
  19. Braves signed Tate Southisene to a $2,622,500 bonus. Feel like you'd hope Ebel would be below that so maybe he's down around a $2.5M bonus
  20. Yeah I think $300K is probably upper limit of what Vucinovich will get. I'd be flabbergasted if he ends up getting anywhere near $500K
  21. Nice to see Luis Castillo's name in the ACL Brewers lineup. He was out for a pretty long time
  22. I do wonder if their success scooping up plate discipline and glove guys the last couple of years through unconventional methods has let them feel more comfortable going after more bat first prospects in the draft. In the last 2+ years they have acquired Blake Perkins, Isaac Collins, and Anthony Seigler through MLB FA, MiLB Rule 5, and MiLB FA. These are guys who all look to be solid depth players who if needed can step into a starting role and do well enough when needed.
  23. I'd say yes to that trade so fast haha. 4+ years of Abreu for Quero and Mears...sign me up.
  24. Here's how the Brewers ended up drafting. College Position Player - 3 JUCO Position Player - 1 High School Position Player - 4 College Pitcher - 6 JUCO Pitcher - 0 High School Pitcher - 8
