    90mph FB over the plate. Hard to blame a player for swinging at that. It doesn't always work out. Honestly even Matos. That was a 95mph FB right down the middle. Hard to blame a guy for swinging at that.

    William has called a really scared game against his brother tonight. They haven't come inside a single time. Everything is away, away, away which is exactly what Willson wants.

    The mistake was not having someone warming to start the inning. Hall didn't start warming until the Duran walked. With how shaky Misiorowski's command looked in the 5th inning, he should have been pulled much sooner.

    Really bad managing from Murphy not having someone warming in the pen to start the inning. Misiorowski went two batters longer than he should have because of that and now the bases are loaded.

    Defending a spikes up slide attempting to hurt a Brewers player because you have to be the contrarian...come on man. Also completely misleading screen grab considering the contact point was the side of Hamilton's knee and you show a screen grab of a low slide.

    Moving Rengifo up against a RHP is just making the lineup worse and it’s really not going to change much of anything from an opposition perspective. If you flip Rengifo with Bauers the opponent isn’t going to care. Rengifo isn’t some lefty masher. He has a career 103 wRC+ against LHP. Lockridge is not 100% according to Murphy and was potentially not available today. Sanchez was probably being saved for later in the game because they didn’t want to pigeon hole themselves into him being their 1B late in a close game. This stuff didn’t happen last year because the roster wasn’t as LHH heavy as it currently is with 2 of your 3 best RHH injured.

    It’s pretty much impossible to do that with the current roster construction. The lineup tonight had 6 LHH, 1 RHH, and 2 switch hitters. Hard to not stack LHH when that’s the lineup and the two switch hitters are both guys who should be at the bottom of the order.

    The awful decision to go infield in during the 4th inning while winning 4-3 might cost the Brewers runs here

    Chourio was hit playing for Venezuela but it was playing against the Nationals in a ST exhibition game so it was effectively a ST game.

    Yes do not trade MLB ready starting pitching depth unless they are running low on options so maybe Carlos Rodriguez gets traded this year though not sure he has much value.

    Childers looked pretty good in his inning. He's throwing a pretty good changeup with I don't know when that happened. Both of his whiffs were on the changeup today.
