  1. Finally finished up watching all the games (outside of Nashville sorry they aren't fun). Hostetler looked solid. None of the young Carolina hitters looked out of place even though most didn't have very good games. Cedar Rapids had absolutely nothing for Rodriguez. His breaking balls were tormenting them all night. I hope there's a velo bump in there eventually for Manuel because he has incredible feel for his pitches and spins it really well, but it's hard to envision a RHP throwing barely 90 breaking into the MLB in this day and age. Yophery had a hard hit fly ball that on a summer night might have been a HR to the deepest part of the park but not tonight. Biloxi was just a very rough showing outside of very nice defense being flashed the entire night. Pensacola was making good contact against pretty much every Biloxi pitcher. As for the Biloxi hitters just looked really overmatched for the most part. Lara looked like he didn't belong. Was chasing and whiffing against everything. Wilken and Adams are very passive hitters. Would like to see them swing the bat a bit more in early counts.
  2. The most exciting day of the minor league season! Can't wait!
  3. I was hoping for the same thing haha
  4. Anderson was called up to replace Civale when Civale went on the IL.
  5. Unless Ginger can cook the Brewers up 10-15 spots in the draft, I think this one might even be too much for her. Our heroes have their limits.
  6. Chourio is the blueprint. He made it to AA (even if it was only for a week) in his age 18 season. Though Chourio was very overmatched in that week.
  7. Did anyone actually say that? Seems pretty unbelievable.
  8. At this point we will take every win we can get so today is a success. The bats need to wake up though.
  9. Through 5 games, Nashville as a team has struck out 54 times in 161 PA for a 33.5% K-rate...not good!
  10. Wes Clarke with the golden sombrero. Nashville as a team strike out 14 times in 32 PA for a 44% K-rate. Not ideal.
  11. Nashville might just be really bad this year. A lot of these hitters look like they don't belong in AAA.
  12. 5 hits, 3 BB, 1 HBP and 16 SO for the Sounds today. Rough start to the season for the bats. Also get healthy soon Quero. Alfaro has a .000 OPS through 3 starts.
  13. Abysmal offensive performance from Nashville today. It's one thing to get lit up by a very good pitching prospect in Waldrep. Another thing to continue to get lit up by Moran and his 83mph FB.
  14. Though in Ernesto's defense he got rung up on a pitch clock violation when the ump started the pitch clock well before Waldrep got the ball back after Durbin's SB.
  15. This game is giving 2025 Brewers energy. Zimmerman getting smashed and Waldrep is dominating the bats.
  16. Guess we will see if Quero is going to be on the active roster or the IL for Nashville.
  17. No Quero, Wichrowski, Crow, or O'Rae.
  18. Not that it's an excuse for this game but this ump has been complete *******. Squeezing the Brewers all day. Anderson had 3 strikes called balls in his walk against Garcia.
  19. Was actually a good throw. Durbin intentionally played the long hop which is smart when you're making such long throws.
  20. AAA has statcast data. He threw 6 sliders and cutters in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd. Of the 8 thrown only one has been in the strike zone while his zone rate on the FB and CH are both over 50%. Even going back to ST he really struggled throwing the slider and cutter for strikes. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?date=3/29/2025&gamePk=780927&chartType=pitch&legendType=pitchName&playerType=pitcher&inning=&count=&pitchHand=&batSide=&descFilter=&ptFilter=&resultFilter=&hf=scoreboard&sportId=11&liveAb=#780927
  21. I think Ernesto is going to be a heavy favorite for the Sounds fan favorite award this year.
  22. Henderson pretty much completely ditched the cutter and slider in the 2nd inning and dominated. Personally I don't care what his ERA numbers are, I'd much rather him get a bunch of reps with those pitches because he needs to expand his repertoire.
  23. Your greatest battle is which is left field and right field haha
  24. Put this here as well but @Spencer Michaelis pointed out on Twitter that Tyler Black was sent to AA. Pretty surprising development.
  25. @Spencer Michaelis pointed out on Twitter that Tyler Black’s MLB.com page has him being sent to Biloxi from Nashville.
