    I’m also pretty sure it’s only happened one time so it’s not like they have a bunch of 5 game win streaks. It’s been more methodical where they pretty much just win every series

    Turang hitting 2nd against a LHP is a pretty valid critique. He’s slashing .190/.273/.253 against LHP this year and .239/.307/.302 for his career. It’s clear at this point it’s not going to change though so probably not worth complaining about

    Yes it’s 6 and 5 but those two teams play each other still so the Brewers will clinch a postseason spot as soon as the magic number gets to 2 for both teams because one of the them is guaranteed to lose two more games.

    The magic number for the postseason I believe is down to 4 because the Padres and Dbacks still have to play each other. Also the magic number to eliminate the Cardinals in the NL Central goes to 0 if they lose to the Giants tonight

    Rookie moves. Everyone knows that when you turn it off when they are playing bad and they come back to tie it up when you’re not watching that you need to keep the game off the rest of the way

    Was nice to see the offense show some fight. We are going to need to see the offense find its groove again because the pitching situation is starting to look a lot more vulnerable than it did a month ago.

    If Murphy showed any semblance of consistency then Ortiz would be coming in mid inning as a defensively replacement. Hamilton has cost the Brewers nearly half a dozen runs today

    I’d like to see Bauers and Turang both get the day off today against the LHP. C - Contreras 1B - Vaughn 2B - Hamilton 3B - Ortiz SS - Pratt LF - Chourio CF - Mitchell RF - Lara DH - Sanchez

    The bad one for Lara was not doing damage on that 2-1 sinker right down the middle.

    Seems like we are starting to see the downside of having a rotation full of people in their first full big league season. Outside of Henderson who had an IL stint this year, All of our SP are looking like they are hitting a bit of a wall.
