    Don't know about that. I thought the zone heavily favored the Brewers today. I think we got like 10-12 calls incorrectly go our way.

    It's definitely not aesthetically pleasing the way he kind of lets the ball play him at times like that. Almost anti-stretching at times

    Their fans seem to have largely conceded the division at this point so you probably won't see many out there takes unless they start sliding down the WC spots and get closer to falling out of the playoff race.

    I mean it definitely does still help. 2, 3, 4 run HR hurt a lot more than a solo HR does. Coming into today they were over performing their FIP by .57 runs which was most in MLB.

    Regression monster finally coming for the Cubs bullpen? They had so many guys performing way over their underlying numbers. Like Thornton coming into today had a 2.32 ERA, 4.26 xERA, 4.26 FIP. I get they have a historically good defense but guys should not be overperforming their peripherals to that degree.

    Burke having a 40% K-rate through his first 70 PA in AAA is really disappointing.

    @Jake McKibbin just wrote an article about Chourio’s splits and he’s definitely been pressing with RISP. He has gone full Hackson mode this year with RISP with like a 71% zone swing and 45% chase rate.

    Very nice game today. Brewers responded very well to Murphy's message the other night. Two of their best/most complete games of the month the next two days.

    Lara looked so bad against that Curry guy for whatever reason. He's the only guy who struck out against him and he did it twice!

    Mitchell is dealing with a sore foot and Bauers is dealing with shin splints

    The Brewers don't seem as concerned about his workload as I do so that tells me I probably shouldn't be as worried. Plus Misiorowski looked like he was done and out of gas a year ago and then was awesome in the playoffs.

    I'd have that be it for Misiorowski. I am somewhat worried how he's going to look come the postseason. Feel like you can really see the season long fatigue beginning to set in these last few starts.

    It was just a social media mistake. The lineup on MLB.com always showed the lineup in the updated social media post

    Need 5 innings completed for an official game or 4.5 if the home team is winning. Doesn’t matter if the lead is 1 run or 10 runs, the game can get called at that point.
