    He's got MAYBE the best bat speed of anyone in this game. Last AB he watches 3 strikes. And this game, he looks like he's... well, afraid. That's just not the type of AB you can have.

    I was hoping I'd post that and... immediately be proven wrong. With Lara, Frelick and the guys coming behind him, he stayed healthy, move on and go with Lara to start next year in CF. You can get decent value I think.

    I think you're right... but I don't know. I've had zero confidence in him all year and I've regularly been proven wrong. So I'm going to have zero confidence in him.

    If he can hit at this level, he's certainly capable of playing 1B...(not this year). But he played a much better 3B this year. If he can handle THAT?

    Yeah, Pratt had a tough play to make, but you have to put that on Bauers. You had time. You have to make tough plays... in the playoffs.

    It's nice when you have a lefty with a sub 2 ERA and a .144 BAA and that's the "B side!" I hear ya though.

    I don't hear it TBH. I thought they've been... praising the play, but... as everyone else does, I could be missing it.

    I kinda doubt they do that. That seems like it'd be a bad idea coming off last night. But I'd take it with Vaughn and Sanchez available.

    I think it's Wainwright... but the Pads defense has been really good tonight. They've saved a couple runs.

    Ortiz put a solid swing on it. Just... couldn't get it done. Keep them where they are, top of the order coming up.

    I don't think they PH for Ortiz. You have Morejon as their closer for tonight. Ortiz just has to not expand.

    So big for Ortiz. I'd be SHOCKED if the first pitch wasn't up out of the zone. He HAS to lay off that pitch. Keep the pressure on the Pads here.
