Was in Pittsburgh for a couple days in January. Fun town, wish I had more time out there to explore it. We stayed at the Renaissance downtown, a short walk across the bridge from PNC. Check priceline, got a couple of rooms for $90/night, which was a steal. The touristy thing to eat is Primanti's, which I wasn't terribly impressed with. It was just okay. Didn't get a chance to do a ton of sightseeing, but did take a trip up the incline. Great view of the city from Mt. Washington. Carson Street is one of the big bar areas we visited. Fatheads had great wings and bar food. If you're into a good beer list, Smokin Joe's had a really nice selection. Also, cabs are damn near impossible to come by. Try to take public transit, or leave at least 30 minutes to wait for a cab.
