I guess I never would have thought Dessens would be the one to replace him. ] Really, it's Joe Dillon that's replacing him... I think Dessens on the roster because: a) Bush went so long last night b) Linebrink isn't available c) The Brewers may attempt to trade Dessens to someone who needs a 5th starter

    I could care less about Dillon, because clearly, he's the 25th player on the roster and won't have much of an impact. I'm excited to see Rickie get sent to AAA so he can get regular playing time in a decent part of the order and get his timing back in time for the postseason.

    [ I will say that there are people on this thread that have embarrassed themselves tonight. ] While I think there are people who took things too seriously (and that's totally just my opinion), I don't think anyone embarrassed themselves for speaking their minds, here, in the appropriate forum. As long as people don't get passive aggressive about it, I'm open to all criticism... It's a site for all of you guys, not for us (the mods).

Calling the moderators names is probably best to be done behind our backs. We're a grumpy sort.

    It's not a bad strategy.... Get SF to eat salary, eat some innings, and then flip at next year's deadline for prospects. Rajai Davis and a PTBNL will probably be not as talented as the return they might get next year for a cheaper, rental version of Morris.
