    Had Smith on my radar but he has been not playing as well as he did to start the season offensively. I would want to make sure his first half wasn't a fluke before making a move. The move might involve Devin for Smith which would help both teams.

    I don't think anyone thought or mentioned that Junis was likely to get traded. I have been saying Wiemer has little value for a while.

    The middle infield and 3B play every day. Monasterios position isn't too important on the team.

    My disappointment is that we didn't trade a reliever. No idea how they will manage this with all of the guys coming back. I suspect a bunch of IL stints conveniently timed.

    I'm not sure the point you are trying to make. Teams out of the playoff chase trade for prospects all of the time. Rogers and Scott are not nearly as valuable as Stanton and Yelich but they got some pretty good prospects for them.

    Stanton and Yelich were stars. Rogers isn't anything special and Scott is a reliever.

    Has there been any confirmation that Montas is for sure going in the rotation? I mean conventional wisdom would say yes but who knows these days.
