  1. Other than keeping the Brewers in it, these two wins were vital in that regard. We need the Cards to keep fighting until the end against the Cubs and such.
  2. Rumor has it, the Packers thought they had the first down and it was 1st and 10, not 4th and 1. I'd be curious to know if the down marker on the sideline had changed by mistake.
  3. This is a win. It is quality for the type of game (division) but we have a different thought on what’s quality if you think they way they played was. Disagree. Defense played well again, offense looked good early, but struggled after Minnesota adjustments. That’s to be expected with a new offense. They showed progress from week 1, and should continue to do so. Quality win.
  4. Yeah, so much negativity. This is a quality win.
  5. Come on, adam.... he bobbled his whole way during and after that. I agree that it was unlikely to be overturned, but that want a catch beyond a shadow of a doubt. So why would you agree that it would be unlikely to be overturned? Seems that by your definition it met every criteria to be reversed. I agree if wasn't a catch beyond a shadow of a doubt, that's why I said it had call stands written all over it. Maybe I misread the premise of your post. I thought you were saying it was undeniably a catch, while I think there was a CHANCE they thought it wasn’t.
  6. Why? Hit the ground, but didn't bobble. That had call stands written all over it. Come on, adam.... he bobbled his whole way during and after that. I agree that it was unlikely to be overturned, but that want a catch beyond a shadow of a doubt.
  7. It looked like Alexander had that the whole way. I can’t believe he didn’t pick that off.
  8. This is probably closer to what will happen than the other scenarios in this thread but I hope we keep Gamel. Who would start at SS? I like Arcia in the field but not his bat. Internally? Spangenberg, Moose, Perez, and Hinujosa could be options. Plus, there is the waiver wire, trades, or free agency. He probably should have indicated that he was asking about VIABLE options.
  9. I was holding out hope that Fitzpatrick would fall last year, so I would whole-heartedly support a move for him. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
  10. Yep. Inconvenience for some traded for improved safety for many. A small minority of people will be put off by it, but there are plenty of additional seating options for them to choose from if they decide it's too much of a negative on their personal experience.
  11. What team has 4-5 top 100 prospects to part with? Especially with a legitimate shot to contend?
  12. Was there a part of the initial post that you disagree with?
  13. Yeah, that's incredibly disappointing. He would have helped that young o-line a lot with his blocking.
  14. I think that a good year from Coan makes the 2020 decision a lot easier.
  15. The TE room will be much better when Neuville is back. He's a monster run blocker at the very least, and he'll be a huge asset in the run game.
  16. I think the opposite is true, honestly. I think Counsell, like most managers, is an interchangable cog. I like Craig, I think he does what you can best hope for in a manager, which is to implement the philosophy of the organization strategically. But beyond that, I'd think he could be replaced without much of an effect on the results.
  17. Probably. But it's still worth a try. If he just throws it up and they call grounding the Cardinals get an untimes down to kick the game winning FG. I remember a couple of years ago when the Ravens held everybody at the end of the game to just run out the clock but the game wasn't extended because a foul by the offense does not extend play. Not sure the Lions would get an untimed down. I believe the league changed that rule specifically because of that game, actually.
  18. Seemed pretty Brewer cheer heavy the last couple of days, honestly.
  19. Sure glad Coan figured out how to throw the deep ball. / blue
  20. He may have 4-5 TDS by halftime, though.
  21. Taylor may end up with video game numbers today.
  22. I think that's part of the point. They did get somewhat better, but didn't act stupidly.
  23. Bears have all 3 time outs. Not over yet.
  24. Problem is, Jones can’t stay on the field and Williams is just a guy.
  25. Really starting to wonder if an offer for Gordon makes sense.
